  • In 2011, the average American took in five times as much information as we did in 1986, begging the question: Where does all that information go? Neuroscientist Daniel Levitin has the answer, explaining what happens to your brain on information overload. Put down your phone and learn why multitasking is a myth, and what you can do to better organize your mind at home, at work and beyond.

I have been reading his book these last couple of days. Found it on Amazon and I just gave it a try without knowing much about it. But I am glad I did gave it a try, because it really is an incredible book. I have not finished it yet, but it has already captured my attention. And that is a beautiful thing. Great man, great speaker.

"Its better to focus on ONE THING" great wisdom. I have incidentally read THE ONE THING by Gerry Keller which honestly tackle the core issue of mind distraction and focus in a more precise and less complicated way.. just my opinion:)

What a completely meandering speech. I should prepare myself for all random potential eventualities and the questions I would need to ask in those situations as a means of achieving a more organised brain?? Surely you should clear your mind of all potential eventualities in order to better use said limited 'glucose storage'. And what really is the significance of the rambling story about statins othe than to point out that you know a cornflakes box fact about some random thingr?
