Sadhguru is a Yogi, Mystic, and Visionary. Named one of India’s 50 most influential people, Sadhguru’s work has touched the lives of millions worldwide through his transformational programs. He has a unique ability to make the ancient yogic sciences relevant to contemporary minds, and his approach does not ascribe to any belief system but offers powerful and proven methods for self-transformation.
An internationally renowned speaker and author of the New York Times Bestseller Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy, Sadhguru has been an influential voice at major global forums including the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, addressing issues as diverse as socioeconomic development, leadership, and spirituality. He is regularly invited to speak at leading educational institutions, including Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Stanford, Wharton, and MIT.
Dedicated to the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of humanity, Sadhguru possesses a perspective on life and living that never fails to intrigue, challenge, and surprise all those he encounters. In 1992, Sadhguru established Isha Foundation - a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that operates globally in over 300 centers supported by more than nine million volunteers. Through powerful yoga programs for inner transformation and inspiring social outreach initiatives, Isha Foundation has created a massive movement dedicated to addressing all aspects of human well-being.

The biggest lesson for me must be when he talked about the tree. The bigger/older the tree becomes, the better it will be. I'm 65 and I'm that tree, healthy, happy with still space to grow. I've taken responsibility for my life, especially for being healthy and fit and "growing" in old age.

@@pritipatra4319 since you are already aware & working on yourself, you're way ahead of the rest of your peers. 😊 Be patient with yourself, listen to your gut & try to enjoy every moment of your life. I made the mistake in my 20's to always plan for later, took life too seriously & never stopped to just live & have fun. What I realize now, is that each age period has its own good & bad. Instead of trying to control every outcome for the future, we just need to live the experiences of the moment and learn our lessons so we don't keep repeating the same mistakes for decades. 💕

I am very happy to see that Sadhguru is being introduced to a Western, more mainstream mind. This interview was great but also very introductory. His laughter and easy-to-understand responses belies the magnitutude of power this being holds. His Inner Enginnering course is an online program that lays the foundation of psychological clarity and balance while his in-person initiation is an energetic transmission from guru to disciple, what is otherwise known as shaktipat. The yoga he offers is called kriya yoga, the path towards self-realization using energy. When you have the power of a guru supporting your spiritual journey, the work you can accomplish exponentially increases in this lifetime .🙏🏻🌟💚🌎🧘🏻‍♀️🥰

    Well... It's 65 🥳

I sleep like a baby, digest food pretty decently now, got balance in my body, way calmer mind, much more manageable emotions, constant improvement on some serious joint issues... Only thanks to this practice.

As a Mortician, I have learned over many years that being close to the pain of death and families great sorrow, life is composed of three important things. First there is the Physical then Second, is Mental and finally there is the most important aspect of your existence which is the spiritual. Without any one of these three things working in your body, you will not function correctly. Each day push your body but for your Mind, Read, have intelligent conversations, learn new things then finally, be still, sit alone but know there are Millions of people around the world sitting alone or in groups meditating at the same time as you so, think on GOD and see the wonderful gifts he has given you. One of these gifts that no man has ever been able to make is WATER. So simple but without it everything dies. God will sit with you sometimes smiling at your progress.

Awwww... you got Sadhguru to join your show! My worlds are coming together... love what he shares with the world. So glad the world is interested! And look how radiant you two are in this interview! Yes... organize ourselves and our time and energy during our short time in this physical life... Restfulness, ease, love. Thank you! 😃 (And yes, if you do 2:1 breathing while you jog you will have a slower heart rate and your body will be less stressed, more effective with the run.😊) ❤️

I learnt and used to suggest in my talks. I say this : what we should do to be happy .?
Earning money? Eating our favorite food ? Wearing our favorite dress?
No- nothing at all ! Then what we should do to be happy always ? The only answer and the only way to remain happy is :
    YOU MUST BE HAPPY 😃
You remaining happy is the only option to keep you happy always. No external things but internal systems should be trained, practiced to be happy always.
Shri Sadhguru is having that and therefore he is always happy, laughing and inspiring
You too looks happy, remain happy and that’s why you could able to make me and many be happy with your wonderful interview today 👍🌹 God bless you dear 🙌🙌🙏

  • @AlexMDorr

Loved the episode! Much of the wisdom from Sadhguru reminds me of a quote from a teacher I hear once that I will never forget. "If heaven were this marvelous, marvelous place where everything is lovely and beautiful and perfect AND WE TOOK ALL THAT WE WERE JUDGING, THINKING AND BELIEVING in our current life with us to heaven - where would we be?"
    The answer is Earth.
Understand our mind and the power of believing untrue stories and judgments of others. Learn how to question those thoughts and assumptions through meditation and inquiry and we might just realize where we have always been. Something to think about. Anyway, another amazing episode Lewis! Love the powerhouse guests you have had on recently!

This why people in Africa walk barefoot, children play with the soil and in the rain. Plus they must play outside, never indoors. Life is so simple. Humans do not know how to act like human beings, they want to be taught humanity. This is the problem with the world. This what I have learned from all this session. Just live. Just live. Create a life of joyfulness and thanksgiving.
