- The theory of evolution is something that all of us learned about as kids. Charles Darwin proposed this theory explaining how all the 8.7 million species evolved from one single ancestor. But did anyone of us have even a tidbit of the idea that Indians had already recorded the evolution, thousand years before Darwin was even born?

I just loved the simplicity by which the entire avatars have been explained in relation to people who wrote it in their own versions. Keep progressing!
As someone in postgraduation in Biotech let me explain you. This guy is misleading how can half lion & half human can be compared to an ape 😂 and if you see evolutionary chart wild boar & extinct sps of lion have both evolved in pleistocene epoch. Why only lord vishu represented his evolutionary forms in animal kingdom and that too not uniform. From fish straightaway jumped to reptiles , nothing related to birds then concentrated on mammals ( again skipping crucial stages of human evolution apes & other humonoids ) . Why he never represented monera , protista , fungi & plant kingdom. In animal kindom skipped so many phylums😅. The simple reason is ancient human only described those selective species which belonged to their region & could be spotted through their naked eyes. Boasting religion is easy way to grab money with least brainwork. Where as real effort is made by scientists & enterprenuers to create & promote new theories , innovations and make human life better. There is only hardwork & determination which made us humans the apex sps of this planet & furthering us to better future not some God & his miracles. So dont beleive in non sense like this. Please dont compare it with science. Religion is good when its limited to helping people overcome depression , anxiety & frustration in life through Gods miracles & astrology. Religion should never be involved with science ( logic , reasoning & hardwork).

Haldane opined that they are a true sequential depiction of the great unfolding of evolution. According to them, like the evolutionary process itself, the first avatar of God is a fish - Matsya, which depicts aquatic life, then comes the aquatic reptile turtle, Kurma, which depicts creatures moving to land, then a mammal - the boar Varaha, then Narasimha, a man-lion being, which is sometimes taken to mean creatures like Okapi, Archaeopteryx, and others, then comes Vamana, the dwarf hominid. Then Parashurama depicts humans when they were in the caveman stage. And then, Rama depicts the rise of civilization and kingdoms. (Sometimes, when Balarama is taken into account, he is taken to represent the growth of agriculture.) Krishna is taken to symbolize the growth of art and crafts and taken to depict the embarking on philosophical and religious thought.

Who were maybe mythical of are representation of some event or being other is the historical human ones the later 4. Actually lord Vishnu has 24 avatars in total but dasavatar are consider to be main. Now picking up only 10 out of 24 in an order. For what reason? And it's not that it's a new concept dasavatar was founded in post gupta temples and temples of Sindh. Another is india was famous for representation in symbolic form be it the Hanuman eating sun which was nothing but maybe an ellipse which was exaggerated. And even our mathematicians used representation so that those who are from other 3 varnas could understand this. For eg. The equations in india in ancient times were written as sholka were every specific word has a value. Or leelavati ganit which is full of poems and games. In kerela even today few people knew how to write numbers and equations into malayali form. So that's my take. Be free dude. Open to all opinions.
Our Guru had explained this comparison to me when I was in college. (Mid 1990). Being a student of science everything actually fell in place when compared. So thank you for bringing this to a larger mass of people through your video. I would also request you to draw comparisons between stages of embryology and the birth , rebirth and transition of the soul as mentioned in Garuda Puran. Will look forward to hearing you on this.

Yeah Rama and Krishna were probably historical figures. But Ramayana and Mahabharata were legends or stories written which do not completely deviate from reality. It is like Roberd Downey Jr. in Avengers. Both RDJ and Tony Stark are smart and famous guys, but the latter is a fictional character to the context.

The real comment said Rama and Krishna to be historical figures (kings etc.). Also there are archaeological findings (most famous being Ramsetu) which asserts that certain events written in those books did really occur.
But then you get an enormous amount of supernatural things occuring in the book. Giants, flying chariots, ten headed supervillain, half monkey half men etc. which you can prove me whether they existed or not.
Which gives rise to the fact, that those books are written about the feats and experience of a very much real normal human being but laden with embellishments (like supernaturalism) and symbolism ( ten heads = ten qualities).

2. Scientist group don't 'decide' to reach to a conclusion, they search for intricate details about everything they study, takes into consideration multiple hypothesis, and then reach to a correct conclusion.
3. Yeah we don't know a lot of things, so the best thing to do in that case is to say 'we don't know ', instead of assuming that everything the stories tell are true.

well my family never insisted me to learn religion but out of sheer curiosity i myself took to read the Gita few years ago. i could only read 4-5 pages and stopped. I could only remember 1 line in my mind "The purpose of life is Vishnu". 6 months ago i went to a buddhist meditation camp and there i learned about the deep meaning of this line. The guru explained the meaning of why vishnu looks the way he looks. The character of Vishnu in all his avatars what he signifies for. I just saw this video and your comment and im kind of crying rn. @@SuraJ-ti3wj Sanatan Dharma doesn't mandate believing or non believing in God.Sanatan Dharm talks about four goals of human life -Dharm,Arth,Kaam,Moksha which has to be obtained through the fourfold path of Bhakti Yog,Gyan Yog,Karm Yog and Kriya Yog.Basicaly Sanatan Dharm promotes spirituality/seeking rather than only hollow religiosity/blind belief.

We have to agree that people learn better when they listen anything in the form of story. Even today, we learn better about any topic on these TH-cam channel than what we learn at school because it was delivered in a boring manner. I believe every religion had one motto - to spreas humanity. If those ancient books were still available, India could have become a great power till now. India would have 10 times bigger technology than the world .
Nah man, it just isn’t. I love Hinduism and i love my culture and consider it to be the epitome of religious and spiritual beliefs, but everything you have said in the video is very outstretched and a lot of leaps of faith. No one would ever connect these to evolution.

Wooah. I didn't think about this before. And as you said, it is the person's choice of they want to open up to more aspects of these ancient stories/puranas/scriptures. Because to make any story more interesting one has to make it more relatable so there have been humans shown in all these dashavtar stories. Because if you tell people that all were fish tadpole of etc aquatic life and a high specie and superior fish appeared and saved the day people may not believe. As these stories were written only after humans were present and gained intellect of all aspects and started abiding 4 moral duties before death. This is my own take. Yours can be different.
