Thanks for this well-produced and presented video! 3rd edition is arriving today with plans to play it with family Christmas week. I will assign them your video for homework ahead of time!
Hello! You don’t need a weapon to attack. A standard unarmed attack usually involves one player’s Might trait against an opponent’s Might who is the in the same room. I hope this helps, enjoy :)
The rules say you can attack one character in a room per turn. This is though before any special rules that come into play as a result of the haunt. If there are no special rules, I would think you can attack one monster.
I don't understand the following, can you make a video about these 2nd Edition thingy: 1. BITE OMEN CARD - all to know the first time you draw it and the effects it has to do on the subsequent turns. 2. SPIRIT BOARD OMEN CARD - all to know and demonstration of how the it affects monsters movements. 3. HAUNT #46 THE FEAST - How the VICTIMS are moved and complete demonstration how it is being moved by Heroes.
Thanks for another great video! Do you think it's worth getting the 3rd edition if you already own the 2nd edition? I've heard some people say that it's more streamlined and easier to teach to new people and other people say that it feels watered down a bit compared to the 2nd edition.
Thank you so much. 3rd ed is definitely more streamlined during the haunt. I have a soft spot for 2nd ed because it was the first Betrayal I played :) I have not purchased 3rd ed because a friend owns it and if I want to play it, I can borrow it.
Question about Haunt 32 on special edition 3. When referring to the traitors new traits given via the traitors tome, how do you calculate these new numerical values with the character board if the character is considered “dead”? When attacking the bakenecko and they lose the fight do they lower their numerical value of the bakenecko’s traits or from something else such as a character board?
Also, a Qu: if a player has a card that changes the attack from might to something else, say knowledge, does the other player also have to use Knowledge for their attack?
Great video, I learned a lot. Can't wait to still ask "what do we do?" later on today.
Thank you! I hope it goes well. With betrayal there is usually that moment of “what do we do” :)

Thank you so much! That’s wonderful news it’s arriving soon. Have a great time playing with the family :)
Thank you! Super helpful!
You’re very welcome, I’m so happy it was useful. Enjoy Betrayal :)
I have a question about attacking. If I’m in a room with a monster or the traitor, do I need a weapon to attack them?

Thank you so much :)
This lady never misses, i alwayd end up using your vids.
Thank you!!!
One question i have is how many attacks can you make in a turn? Say you had two monsters in a room with you. Can you only attack one?

Hey, sorry for the delay. When playing as the Bakeneko and you lose the fight, you lower the Bakeneko's traits.

Yes
Like for Battlestar Galactica visible on the shelf!
Battlestar Galactica is awesome ☺️
I don’t understand the bold numbers in brackets on the traitors book.
Also, the hallway that leads to the staircase leads to nothing?
Hello! I’m sorry I don’t have a copy at the moment so I can’t check. I hope you found out. Very sorry!
Saludos 😊
