Ahh the tragedy.. Being a board gamer -> spend all your life savings to build a collection -> be forced to play only party games and social deduction games every game night
I think it's just due to the lack of videos. He only has about a dozen. Once he starts making more videos about more popular board games he will have hundreds of thousands I'm sure
Okay ive got one! From personal experience. Setting: visiting your cousins’ house (theyre six brothers lol) ive made them play a lot of different games but their favorite is definitely Sheriff of Nottingham. The sibling chemistry combined with the bluffing and negotiating mechanics is explosive. I usually just sit back and watch the fireworks, have a great laugh, and win anyway.
I like the name change. The original "sea of" was neat but big pasti rolls of the tongue slightly better. Love the work. Keep it up. Would like to see an addendum to the root factions now that three more just got added! haha
Great video! You should think about maybe making an affiliate Amazon link collection for the games you talk about, or at least a link to purchase really liked the video itself tho
Great video as always! You've single handily gotten me interested in board games (wider than any casual board game at least, I did know about house on the haunted hill and stuff), mostly from a mechanical perspective (because I'm a melvin loser who likes thinking about how things work more than actually doing the thing)
Another highly complex one for a lot of gamers: Sidereal Confluence! A completely asymmetric trading/engine building game that plays with up to 9 players.

The life cycle of a board game enthusiast😢
Just gotta find the real ones. I think a monthly dedicated group might do the trick.
Yeah... Slowly bringing them into things with games like Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne
The great knowledge and analysis skills of a boardgame nerd with none of the cringe. This channel will be big
Criminally underrated youtuber. Genuinely can't express how frustrating it is that your channel is so small.

Really love the concept of this, but I was hoping for more date night ideas! I crave depth in a two player experience.

This channel definitely deserves more love.
Thanks for these suggestions!

You forgot the "having no social life" category
