Wonderful. Thank you for this video.
If you want to buy sourdough bread you have to look at bakery in high end shopping complex ..
I was surprised that the fish was announced as shark. It was never shark, as we can observe on the fins, but in total for me this was a nice overview over a very typical Malaysian supermarket. Thanks for it!!
Tq Ken, for showing us the goods sold fr aisle to aisle at this big supermarket. 👍🙏
impressive observations as usual, Ken. Keep it up!
Impressive supermarket tour. Yeah, since rice is the staple food in Malaysia, you can find them packed in big bags...5kgs - 10kgs 😂 Shark(s) is/are usually sold in wet market... very rare to find them in supermarket. Thanks for sharing this informative vlog, Ken. Cheers !
Thank you for sharing 👍
I loved shopping in KL supermarkets when I lived there. Green tea Kit Kat biscuits and so many different flavours of Lays compared to home. There was a whole aisle for noodles, every flavour you could think of.
Keep it real Ken, loving the content here in Scotland.
Hi Ken. Only hyper markets like, say, the Jaya Grocer chain sell sourdough bread, inter alia, in their bakery section. But you can buy such breads in most small privately-owned bakeries or in the so called artisanal setups! I love the various types of “brot”which can be found in Germany, Switzerland and so on . Delicious when eaten with schinken!
Good initiative. Gives tourist as coming to Malaysia how reasonable food prices in Malaysia.
Kite sudah Like n sub chnel nye ..Ken arbord clip . 👍😋Tiada masalah
😋👍🇲🇾 ... apakhabar bro Ken arbord ? Tiada masalah 😋🤩 jalan2 di supermarket
Ok, the prices that side are more expensive than what I had imagined. Great video it's informative
Nice supermarket!
Yes it was💪
For supermatket, do go to the hypermarket like NSK (including non halal) and Hero. They have a good range of almost everything you need.
Hello Sir i'm from Malaysia..Ur new friend here❤❤❤❤
Many smaller artisan bakeries do sell german bread... do try Der Bakmeister in taman tun dr ismail...
Lulu popular for local and tourist. I usually buy from here or Jaya grocer before back to Indonesia. Variation, different product and sometimes lower price make Malaysia grocery interesting. Air fare to KL usually cheaper than Indonesia domestic flight.
hello
Bing fan brother ❤❤❤
Lulu owned by Indian businessman based in UAE. A premium hypermart, hence the price 😀
Try shopping at speedmart 99 mini market 😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cheese and bread are more European and American or western foods. It's cheaper to stick to common Asian foods while staying there.
Cheese, butter and milk are expensive here
Wait for me Malaysia
It’s hard not to get Indonesian confused with pilipino Tagalog both have dialects seventeen thousand islands
❤
location ?
Lain kali hg ajk taufiq fiq br best
Rice is staple food, of course 10kg and 5kg is normal
Nah Jaya grocers
Lulu I think is from China, Aeon is Japanese, giant is now malaysian owned, mydin is malaysian owned, lotus' is thai owned, jaya grocer and village grocer not sure who owned it but they are very expensive, they cater to high end customers and expats.
No. It's not. The owner of lulu group is from Dubai, UAE. The arab country.
@@hanxhaykidsdiaries8044 oh ya I forgot. You are correct
@@hanxhaykidsdiaries8044Also, the owner is Indian. So even in Malaysia, a lot of the stuff they sell is either Arab import or south Asia import
You’re off with your prices in Germany. No way milk is less than $1.37
sedekah
not exactly the right supermarket chain to visit. try jaya grocer for a better gauge
"Not the right supermarket" meaning this one is more expensive than the others?
Inflation supermarket
Its weird right? Supermarket full with thing, but the price is always up..
@@noorazizan9972 Just like your age, right?😁. I travel a lot and realise that people in many other countries are far worse off than Malaysians in terms of cost of living.
yep. Malaysians have a higher income than Filipinos but it looks like most supermarket goods are still cheaper than in the Philippines @@NetMaestro2009
