    Do you agree with me on the Cost of Living in Kuala Lumpur 2023 / 2024? Do you plan to relocate to Malaysia? Please share your thoughts on the video, I'd like to hear some honest opinions 🙂

      We want to move from UK but the expensive thing (not mentioned in your video) is the schools- we have x3 kids so that would cost an "arm and a leg" as we say here in the UK!

    • @JustLazloOfficial
      @JustLazloOfficial  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't have kids so I can't relate to these expenses, however it might worth considering, think about it like an investment. I am pretty sure that kids in Malaysia learning discipline. A good environment is also very important, I remember when I was in the same class with kids who's parent's were doctors, managers, lawyers etc I performed way better compared to when I got to a different school with working class kids. @@WxM3008WxM

    I'm living in KL since 3 years. Some of the costs shared are way too high.
    High speed internet 150 Ringgit (video says 500)
    My electricity bill with Aircon 200 Ringgit (video says 500)

    • @JustLazloOfficial
      @JustLazloOfficial  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes I forget to say that you can also have a sim card with unlimited internet for 2 phones. The electricity bill is high because it's based on a real life example. Not saying this is the average but one of our friend ended up paying that much.

    So all those people who say you can rent 1 bedroom apt for MYR 1406 ($300 USD) are wrong.

    • @JustLazloOfficial
      @JustLazloOfficial  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No they are not. You can rent a 1 bedroom apartment for this amount. I approached the topic from a middle class standpoint.

    107 USD per month for internet? That's very expensive.

    • @JustLazloOfficial
      @JustLazloOfficial  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A sim-card to your phone (and your GF's phone) with unlimited internet is also included for that price but I forgot to add to the video. Also the 500-1000 MYR installation charge is going to be deducted from monthly fee. So first 3-4 months is "free".

      malaysia has one of the highest internet charges in the world. it's one way for their useless government linked companies to profit from the people. but the internet charges have been reduced recently. so i hear.

      @@hailyrizzo5428 Thanks for letting me know. Apparently, the tap water is not suitable for consumption and there's a lot of air pollution in Malaysia, too. These are things not discussed enough but it's important to know for people considering moving there.

      that cost is for an unlimited net gigabit download speed for a month. With that download/upload speed, you can setup a mini data center in your home provided that you can get a public IP.

      @@miscetc-tm2yt I would encourage you to look into other places as well. Singapore probably is a better choice for you if you don't really care about cost. Seoul is another one. You really can't have the best services with the cheapest cost in everything you want to have as that just doesn't make any sense and I doubt there ever is a place like that anywhere in the world.

    Far from CBD, you can get less than 1000RM, and it is okay and connected to the public transport, area near PJ, Subang Jaya

    • @JustLazloOfficial

      How far is it? 30 minutes by LRT / MRT and beyond? The cheapest ones, which I would still consider moving in are on the edge of the city and it still costs 1200-1300 MYR + bills.

    why are using the bloat US dollar exchange rate to compare Malaysian earning rations.. Malaysian can buy more things than the Average American with what they earn.. for the price of traveling just a few stations on the sewer standard subway system in New York you can travel all over the city in KL in a modern and clean comfort for the same price.. for the price of a cupboard size studio in New York you can have condo with swimming pools.. very misleading video
