This is the first of your videos I’ve watched and you are so charming. I’m going to go and see if I can find the outcome of your plans. You have great taste!
Brilliant! I love a well planned capsule wardrobe. I want to start my spring/ summer capsule with a "Death on the Nile" inspiration. The recent film had divine, elegant clothes so 1930s it is. Perfect timing to find your TH-cam channel. Subscribed.
I hear you, I am starting to come across Vintage patterns and can't stop myself from buying them. I love those magazines you are showing, the art work is priceless.
Oh how I have SEARCHED AND SEARCHED for a podcast like yours! Please please continue this because... this is a niche I will always desperately search for
Hi Vinateg Gal, I've just found your channel and it feels like picked up a treasure. Thank you for Videos with creative handmade themes! I realy like that you plan your (holiday-)wardrobe and make it piece for piece by hand.I´m very happy to have found a channel with such a contrast to fast fashion. I only can encourage you to make more videos and will follow you on social media. Warm regards, Gloria
I would love a tutorial on your hair. It looks go great! LOVE the plan and cannot wait to see all this finished. Also, you look so much like the actress that plays Edith on Downton.
Looking forward to seeing all your makes. I have wonderful photos from the 1950s of my grandparents alighting from a plane abroad, somewhere hot, with my grandad in his suit and tie and my nan in a smart dress. Also at that time nan wasn't allowed her own passport but had to be on grandad's! I love social history. It is so interesting.
Oh, thank you! I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I was a little worried at one point that it was going to be too small, but thankfully I was wrong.
Hi Cate another wonderful video and it goes so well with your blog post of the same subject I am training harder to have outfits that mix and match. Instead of none matching random items. Keep up the good work! I'd also love to see a quick video on how yo do your hair as I love it. Thanks Carol
Thank you Carol Ann! Having a mix and match wardrobe is great as you end up with so many different outfits. I will try and do a video of how I do my hair at some point but, as it takes me so long to do, it's not going to be an easy one! xx
Hi cate Iv been looking forward to seeing your latest video and have really enjoyed it thank you . Your jumper looks beautiful btw did you do a blue bow as well ? I'm excited to see how your wardrobe of holiday clothes comes along I hope you will give us a fashion show when they are complete . I love the picture of the beautiful lady on your drawers is she a relative ? Already looking forward to next video , I will go check out your blog now , see you soon enjoy our lovely sunshine 😊Amanda xx
Thanks Amanda! I haven't done a blue bow yet, as I'm in the middle of another project, but definitely will when I get a chance. The picture on top of the drawers is printed on to silk and it's absolutely beautiful. She's not a relative but was done by Thomas Forman & Sons, a legendary printing company of the late 19th and 20th centuries. I get the impression that this was done as a one off, as it was done on silk, but I'm going to contact the the Thomas Forman society to see if they know anything about it. xx
Vintage Gal hi cate Iv been checking out your blog , love it , just been reading your piece on the Durrell's I love that programme so much . I'm so looking forward to your next video hope your summer wardrobe is coming along nicely we have certainly had the weather for it this year , hope to see you on screen soon 😊Amanda xx
Aw, thank you Amanda! I've been so busy just recently that it's been hard to blog and record videos but I'm off work for a week next week, so I'm hoping to get lots done. I should be back soon, I promise! xx
So nice to hear someone who knows 1930's fashion, great and fills in the blank spots

Everyone travelled in style back then. It's such a shame no one does that any more. Yes, I love social history, it's so fascinating. x
