Good video, great explanation. Blake does some really nice grabs & rotations, but I wish you included some video demonstrating this with a simple jump, no rotations or grabs, and with the kite in the shot. Thanks

Especially showing timing of sheeting out and seeing how kite responds.

Less showing off when doing instructional video could help. We need to learn things and not be impressed by your riding. If you teach someone you expect moves to be repeated not admired. You suck big time at doing tutorials because of you ego that doesn't allow simple moves to be shown. Transition jump with downloop is not inverted frontroll with grabs.and downloop. II've learned ZERO from this video and almost every other video of yours. Your tutorials are 90 percent self promotion and 10 percent instructions.

⬆️ Just came here to say this ⬆️
Thanks for the tutorial.. being the foundations of more advanced one like other kiters here I’d really appreciate to have clearer demonstrations of how downloop can be used in simple jumps for softer landing or transitions without having too much back/forwardrolls, quick b-rolls etc.
We know you are an amazing rider already 🤙😜

A prerequisite for learning what is being taught is that you actually understand exactly what this video is teaching you. Not a single person commenting on this thread has any idea what the lesson is!
The biggest trouble with common sense these days is it's not at all common...

Hey thanks for the video! I actually didn’t quite get what a Heli loop means..

Great question, my friend. 🤙🏽 "Heli Loops" (think helicopter) are done with the kite directly overhead, in the 11 to 1 o'clock range in the wind window. As compared to doing powered kiteloops much lower in the wind window. Does this help? -Aaron

Tried this today but just found myself getting yanked downwind. Thought this might be a better learning step rather than going for a heli loop. Blake seems to come down so gently, I must have kite it wrong position or something.

    Hello Team
I have a 7 yrs old son, and I am wondering if it is the right age to start teaching him kitesurfing...
If yes what do you recommend as kite for training ?
    Thank you in advance
    Cheers

It depends. I like to recommend they weigh at least 90 pounds. They should also be able to stay focused for an entire kite lesson. As long as they can take the safety aspects seriously and learn to control a kite you should be good to go! - Rygo

Hq makes great trainers. The Slingshot B3 is a good choice as well. We’ve quite a few on our website. Www.mackiteboarding.com we have a live chat as well if you have any questions about them. - Rygo

you might want to confirm what you mean by your "front" hand as all of your loops are being done with your back hand giving you a back down loop not a front down loop.

Hey my friend. Perhaps the way I edited this made the take off confusing. Blake is traveling to his right on take off. The Black side of the control bar is his lead hand. He is looping with that side of the bar landing downwind and transitioning back to the left. Cheers - Rygo
