I too am the same way it's every little thing that counts soaking it all in the big picture the experience the journey no matter how big or how small how short or how long. I can tell that you enjoy each and every moment that you have out on the bike when you are touring. I'm sure it's the same way when you're not touring back in the world that we must participate in between.
Enjoy your trip...My adventure in Australia this year was 8 821km and I enjoyed every kilometer of it.I have cycled now in Australia alone just over 30 000km...Next year the plan is to go all the way up to Cape York...via the Central Desert Road to Alice Springs...then cross over and do the Gibb River Road...Will be a long one again....
