- I tried living full time in a tent, off-grid in England for free, to escape the busy world we all now live in. I gave myself time away from computers and other technology to breathe, slow down, to tackle stress and anxiety, to look after my health and to enjoy this slower way of living. Join me as I show you what it is like to live in the middle of nowhere in the British countryside.

What a great adventure. What were you shooting though - looked like targets? Love how the off grid tents have fairy lights - excellent! Apart from the toilet facilities it looks like a great place to stay.

A business I made appointment with gone bust😭and not sure if I be getting my money back. But looking got put things in perspective it hasn't killed me and so many people out there with very big problems... So I live 😊

Camping in the woods, love it. You used a broom to fling a tie down, I used a small metal garden spade. Tie and toss.

Wild camping t it's best,my Son and have spent years sleeping in the woods and experience life without luxuries.
He is now in Perbright doing his phase one training and hopefully passing out in early January.
Great to see another side to your life's.

@UlaandJosh I handed over the money from the sale of my house and our boat to my Philippina wife as a last sort of statement. She complained bitterly about her life living on a boat etc. Everything was my fault. So anyway, she left and I started a new relationship with another woman who was basically the same, just not such a good liar. Anyway, I wanted to challenge myself, so I lived in the UK on a couple of boats and then sold the last one set off for the Philippines where I gad the problem with the new woman. So I started stealth camping in the UK and built a stealth cabin. Last winter went down to -5, which was tough because I couldn't get a DBS police check, so I couldn't teach. Eventually, I got started and I am back doing supply teaching to pay off my house in Portugal. I have now got a new substantially complete stealth cabin and just over £2600 to pay off my house in Portugal. I have vlogged all of this on my channel. Please subscribe. I am up to some awesome stuff really way out.

That looks wonderful and relaxing for you Josh...I have nightmares of my one time in a tent when I was a teenager which sadly turned me off camping for life...I'm glad you had a great time though...do you have venomous snake's in England ?...thanks for the update see you in the next one xo 💜🇦🇺 sorry I'm late had an emergency with my Dad who lives nearly 200klms away it was a long day 😢

Wow nature really opens ur eyes I bet the noise was perfect too did u get to read a book or was it too wet and what book was it camp site looks lovely that’s a nice place to go when u been through a bad patch a place to look after urself a place to get ur feelings out and to breath In air and to get some deep thoughts away from busy life away from stress to relax and be you I unsure I could use the toliet but if that’s what u only had then it had to be done for that I also would love to have a cuddle with my boyfriend Greg I bet u missed Ulla and wish she was with you but that’s beautiful ❤❤ xx
This woodland is cub beautiful place to escape to… to really immerse yourself in the landscape and go back to basics. It is so peaceful and calm ✨🪵🔥

Josh was working as a campsite warden so needed to live on the campsite to make sure all campers were happy and safe :)
this is achievable on private OG campsites but not for the average Joe. Probably illegal to live in a tent on UK land.

Rest assured David, the narrowboat is absolutely fine, Ula was on it during this time. We're back together now chugging away :)
