Restore Old Corroded Cement Mixer // Repair And Reuse Of Antique Construction Tools
Hello dear friends! Repair and restoration of classic concrete mixers includes several steps. First, the machine is thoroughly inspected to determine if any parts are broken or worn. This includes checking the engine, transmission, drums and other components. Once the problem is identified, damaged parts will be replaced or repaired. This may involve sourcing original spare parts or fabricating custom parts if necessary. The engine and gearbox can be disassembled, cleaned and repaired to ensure good operation. Clean the concrete mixer drum with a wire brush to remove rust, dirt or old paint. It is then repainted with a high-quality epoxy-based paint to protect it from future corrosion. Additionally, any cracks or weak spots on the drum are welded to enhance the drum's durability. Once all necessary repairs have been completed, the machine will be reassembled and inspected. This involves checking motor performance, gearbox function and general operation of the mixer. Once the concrete mixer is fully functional, it can be used for many different construction projects. Looks like you are in China and so impressed with the talent and hard work ethics there. That was a super job that you did and I knew it would be top notch when you was done. I'm doing fiinal restoration of an old Worthington 3 1/2 S with the original Wisconsin engine. I hope that they respected the hard work you put into repairig that mixer and take good care of it.
