They're battery powered lights from Amazon and I honestly can NOT recommend them in good faith. I'd feel bad suggesting them to you. They run off of three C batteries each and begin to dim drastically within just a few hours.
Sick space dude! I obviously just redid mine, and I absolutely love it, but seeing stuff like this makes me want to design a new one, haha! I really need a new PC, and that logo animation on the cooler really is cool.
Great looking setup! I couldn't agree more on the monitor lamp, they kept telling me I need one, so I decided to give it a go. I now use the Xiaomi one and couldn't reccomend it enough!
I dont think there's an issue. They're about 18" off the wall. and an arms width away from me. The high-freq driver are almost level with my ears. The way you see them in this video isn't really how I place them normally. I pulled them out so that they "looked" better in the video. Check this article out. I followed it as best I could: www.presonus.com/learn/technical-articles/studio-monitor-placement
Ohhhhh boy! This office for some reason...gets EXTREMELY dusty so once a week I just use some compressed air and a hand duster from Walmart :D That's the only way.
Nice setup! I recently bought the same monitor and really like it! Built a computer too. 5900x, corsair 64gb ram, Asus creator X570, evga 3060 ti, 3 x 1TB M.2 SSDs, corsair rm850x PSU, fractal 360mm AIO, and fractal define 7 case. Plus I bought Resolve with the speed editor! Trying to say goodbye to premiere pro and dropping down to photoshop and lightroom only.
@@joenicklo its pretty neat! I used it for one project so far and found it to be faster if your shots are already kind of in the order you need them to be. I'm sure in time I'll wonder how the hell I got by without it before!
Fantastic video m8, was the audio cable management a pain for the standing desk? I'm currently trying to clean up wires but having the sub on the floor makes it hard
Thanks! The cables for the speaker definitely posed a challenge. I needed enough slack for when the desk rises. And yeah, the subwoofer on the floor posed a challenge. The speakers have a power cable and an XLR cable each, and those XLR cables go into the subwoofer, and then the subwoofer has another set of XLRs that go to the audio interface on the desk. I might end up simplifying it in the future with a smaller set of speakers and I’ll put these at a desk for an editor, but we’ll see.
Have you considered getting the Davinci mini panel ?? I see that you have the micro panel . Im trying to decide which one to buy since both have now new pricing!
@@JoelRiveraMD Well, the good thing about these panels is that they have high resale value. You rarely see them up for sale used. I got mine a few years ago for $800 used, long before they did the price drop.
That Topographic wallpaper is incredible, I have one at the moment but nothing that looks that great on a 4k monitor do you have a site you got it from to link? And awesome setup, not just for looks which is why I love it so much glad youtube recommended this haha
Hey Justin, glad you like the wallpaper. The graphics are actually from YouWorkForThem.com -- they have a ton of topography packs you can buy. If you like the wallpaper...you're gonna love the wrap I'm having done for the company vehicle.
I switched to a slightly larger Grovemade deskpad since filming this video. It's wide enough for my keyboard, mouse and a little bit of space on the left for whatever.
I can't recommend them to you in good faith. They're horrible....they require THREE "C" batteries and they will burn through those batteries in less than 12 hours.
Beautiful setup man! How do you like the Resolve micro panel? I have been going back and forth on getting one, but not sure if it will be as useful as I am thinking.
First, thank you! I appreciate you watching. Second, the Micro Panel has changed the way I grade so much. Think about how you can only adjust lift, gamma OR gain wheels...one at a time, with a mouse. Just being able to use the wheels at the same time to push the wheels is huge. That alone has sped up my color grading workflow. This being said, if I were you, I'd consider the MINI panel since they dropped the price. I'll be upgrading to it eventually.
So Cool!! Hi, I’m a university student in Japan and I love watching “room tour” videos abroad. Is it possible to introduce your video on my youtube, etc(could be monetized)? Mainly, I’ll summarize your video and put explanations in Japanese.

@@Thewickedjon Yeah I do miss the natural light a lot. I've got a 3 year lease on this space that I signed in September so this is what it'll be. I still have the big table though!
Yes, I can. The Yamahas are usually spaced further out and positioned properly. I moved them for the video because I didnt like how they blocked the PC in the shots.

Glad that stuck out.

Yes yes! 😉 thanks for watching
Great setup! How have the BenQ monitors held up? I've heard mixed things about it's longevity.
Thanks Matthew. The BenQ so far has been great. No issues with it, and this is a refurb.

Saw this on reddit! Whole different vibe, I love it!
Sweet! Thank you for watching.

10:09 Can you give a purchase link for that desk lamp? I didn't find it in the description. 😊
Sorry, no link for the lamp. I got it at a local Homegoods store.
Honestly, I mostly want to know what the lights are above the posters. Those are perfect for what I'd want

It would be extremely tight. This is a 72" desk with two 27" monitors. There isn't much space to the left or right.
