The voice actor for Zamasu is James Marsters, and his performance is one of the highlights of Super, IMO. He actually played Piccolo in Dragonball: Evolution. Proves he's a great actor that was just given a terrible role, and I'm very happy that he got this chance to redeem himself.
Without a doubt, one of my favorite fights in Dragon Ball Super. The 2v2, choreography, pacing, animation, mix of dialogue and action, everything about it is spot on.
It is very good, but for me the inconsistent power scaling is what ruins it. Zamasu fighting with ssb Goku evenly for a moment even though it is only Black that is comparable to Goku in power (Zamasu chose immortality over straight power while Black wanter Goku’s high power so stole his body), and Trunks being able to trade blows with SSJR Black and even overcome him by kicking him away, despite being only ssj2. The latter is extra disappointing because they could have easily made Goku and Trunks switch roles where Trunks kicks away the ssj2 tier Zamasu while Goku manages to kick Black away. But nonethless, music, animation and coreography were all great in this episode for sure

One misunderstanding the anime left in the air. The manga explained how rose works, when black taps into it, it is said its pink colour is like that because *spoilers ahead* He is a supreme kai, normally the saiyan ki + god ki makes blue But saiyan ki + supreme kai ki + god ki makes rose
The way I see how rosē works is due to Goku Saiyan bloodline with zamasu being a supreme Kai and with his quote on quote uncorruptible spirit but we all know is corrupted a form into a new energy something that cannot be obtained by conventional meaning but your way makes sense too
4:50 Jack the thing you should know the English dub kinda change translation in this arc for Zamasu. Zamasu isn't just indestructible but really he's immortal. As for why they change it, no idea but Zamasu is immortal...that's the true explanation of his lack of damage
I think the change was made for clarity. In english, "immortal" can be used to refer to something that can't be destroyed by anything, OR something than CAN be destroyed by outside forces, but simply doesn't naturally degrade over time. I don't know what the connotations are in Japanese, but I imagine the change was made to specify, especially since, as a god, Zamasu already had the second kind of immortality.
Zamasu's va is actually the same actor who played piccolo in the live action dragon ball and he did this role for free to redeem for his choice of live action

Bruh the subtitles ended up spoiling that this zamasu is future zamasu while me and countless other ppl watched the arc when it came out and were wondering for a while about the mystery. The subtitles did the mystery dirty
Goku black is the goat idc wat anyone says. He’s easily the best character in dbs and the reason most ppl started to feel excited for the next episode. Tho nozawas performance compared to Sean’s takes him to a whole new level imo
Yajirobe isn't really useless, weak, or selfish. Matter of fact he's quite possibly top 3 in terms of human power levels, and he's actually team player. He just absolutely refuses to take personal risks whenever possible. The moments where he's needed, he always comes in clutch.

Goku commented on how much stronger he had become when he was recruiting team members for the tournament of power and he noted that Roshi must have been training in secret, Yamcha wasn't even considered. It's really hard to pin down how strong Videl is because by the time she was introduced the main gang was SO much stronger than Dragon Ball and early Z characters that there was no comparison for her. What we do know is she's considerably stronger than her father, and he was legitimately the World Champion before superhumans started fighting in the World Martial Arts Tournaments again, so she was easily among the very top strongest "normal" humans even before she learned to manipulate ki, and that's something Yajirobe has never really been shown to do. He certainly can't fly and I don't think he's ever fired energy blasts either. He trained with the Z-Warriors for the Saiyan attack but didn't really get involved in it and hasn't done much since. He seems to just hang out with Korin. Videl still actively trains and teaches martial arts classes, so it's not unreasonable to say she might be stronger than Yajirobe. They're at least relatively close and both are above 99.9% of the human population, that's for sure.

Zamasu is seeking power because he met Goku. Goku met him because he found power. May have a time loop here. But Zamasu was always predisposed to corruption due to his personality. If not Goku, someone else likely would have set him down a dark path. A guardian of humanity that hates humanity wasn’t likely be it’s guardian for long.
Jack, you gotta remember, the Super Dragon Balls exist only in the 6th and 7th universes, those are the only two universes with Dragon Balls at all. Gowasu and Zamasu are from the 10th universe, so it makes sense it's not common knowledge, because it's a concept that doesn't exist in their universe at all. Gowasu, who's interacted with other universes more, barely even knows they exist, and Zamasu surely wouldn't.
You know what I dislike the most about this arc besides the character assassination of trunks? Zamasu hates "Mortals..." brother... THE KAIS ARE MORTALS xD. Old Kai when he revivied Goku says he only has like a thousand years left... sure they live long but they are mortal lmao

Fun fact, when he was introduced in OG DragonBall, Yajirobe was probably one of the three strongest humans, alongside Tien and Roshi. Now, in Future Trunk's timeline, he's probably the single strongest human if you don't count half-human Trunks. Well, unless I'm forgetting someone. It's just that he's like everyone else in that he pales in comparison to the actual threat.

Its Super Sayain>2>3>4 with it brancing off 2 ways into God witch is Super Sayain with God Ki using the ceremonial method and Blue which is Super Sayain that god ki. God makes you a Super Sayain God while Blue you are a super sayain that rivals a god. Super Sayain Rose is Black's version of going super sayain and since you finished the arc black is part god his Ki is different. Rose is basically his own version of Super Sayain and since he has his god ki its a transformation only he can do.
Zamasu alone would get clapped by either Vegeta or Goku. He’s a “god” but he’s not like a god of destruction he’s a Supreme Kai in training. Don’t get me wrong compared to universe’s 7 Supreme Kai he’s a monster, but it’s more the fact that he’s a martial artist. He isn’t someone they wouldn’t be able to handle. A regular Saiyan can't tap into Super Saiyan Rosè, it's basically a corrupted version of Super Saiyan Blue and the color is different because Goku Black's body isn't his original body and he's not a real Saiyan (at least that's what I've heard from a theory on TH-cam, they don't really explain it in the show)
It's not corrupted, Rose can only be achieved by an actual god/deity. Since Goku and pretty much every Saiyan in existence aren't gods, Saiyans can only use the "lesser" Blue version.

It's not corrupted, Rose can only be achieved by an actual god/deity. Since Goku and pretty much every Saiyan in existence aren't gods, Saiyans can only use the "lesser" Blue version.
