Honestly one of Goku's best moments in this series. Actually showing he cares for those around him and acting somewhat rationally. I just wish it happened more often through super.
It's actually kind of neat to learn that Piccolo and Kami were not something completely alone unto itself, but that all Supreme Kais and Destruction Gods are linked to one another. Take out the weaker one and you kill the more powerful one too. That puts a whole new perspective on the events during the Buu saga.
@@lakshyaplayz007 It hurts me as well when people still don't grasp what Rose is. Rose is just SSG but attained by someone who was born a deity essentially having pure, true god ki by birth. So yes, if Goku was born a deity then he would look like that when he goes SSG. That rose colour is what Goku had against Beerus when he attained it in the anime version of the fight which made a lot more sense power level wise and didn't pull any bs of base goku even being able to touch Beerus. It also gave an explanation as to how he isn't as strong as ssg in base now but since he's absorbed the god ki with his mortal ki he's just a whole lot more stronger. Essentially being a bit stronger SSG in his super saiyan form which is a 50 times base multiplier.
Super saiyan rage is the transformation’s name btw. This transformation doesn’t get talked about as much but I really love it. It was the first moment in dbs that really brought back the og dbz transformation vibes.

He out of every character deserves it the most. Completely rational, doesn’t believe in power of friendship and everyone deserves a 2nd chance type thing he goes straight into killing and has gone through enough suffering so yeah even tho it isn’t explained as much but Future Trunks deserves every power up he gets.

Transformations in this verse generally have a trigger but usually they were just concepts the user made up. Every form past 1 and god were variants people created once they stabilized to a certain increase. The power of those forms aren't exclusive to them as people without those forms can still be at those tiers. Blue was discovered by holding your energy in to prevent waste and applying god ki. Gohan pulls beast out of nowhere.

In the anime they give him a new form that boosted by immense rage while already in Super Saiyan 2. To me and some fans its been call Super Saiyan 2.5 😆 but still an awesome form

My observation on the anime are that if SSJ Rose is stronger than Blue (in this ep), Trunks SSJ Rage should be able to keep up with or come close to SSJ Rose afaik. See in the manga when Goku and Trunks spar, Trunks powers into Super Saiyan 2 but since then he's mastered that form entirely and eventually raised to that of Super Saiyan 3 but was defeated when Goku went Super Saiyan God in the manga. Remember Super Saiyan is the pinnacle and true form Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are just power up of the original. If you really train the original to match their forms, do you really the alternate forms at all?
Watching Enraged Goku go insane against the Holy Duo is one of his best moments. Him absolutely bodying Black and slapping away Zamasu like he’s not in their league is so satisfying
Rose is technically Blue but added with a little mix basically Zamasu's version of blue man it's even worse in the manga since they just abuse it since apparently Zamasu has the ability to heal Black Black intentionally gets hurt, gets a power up, gets healed to 100% again, loop it all again
Honestly, one of my favourite episodes of this series period. The plot is awesome, the storyboard is creative, the animations isn't spectacular but still very consistent and the storyboard helps it a lot, the characterization of all characters is on point, the fight is short but very entertaining, specially Black's explosive blades and Goku's absolute slaughter of Zamasu... Almost everything is perfect!

Goku Black explaining that Goku was the one who pushed him to do what he did, the whole taking Goku's body and killing all mortals, so you could confirm Bulma's claim that this is kind of Goku's fault for picking a fight, because Goku Black literally confirms that from that statement.
If Goku had just left well enough alone, I doubt Black would had actually went through with his plans. Of course, Goku kind of made things worse. But what Black did wasn't right though. You never fuck with a man and his family.
Zamasu was already evil by that time, Goku only afforded him the tool to accomplish it. Zamasu would have done it regardless. Remember Trunks Zamasu was also evil and that's the timeline where Goku no longer exists. So it only proves that Zamasu would have just found another way to make his plan a reality. Their evil actions had nothing to do with Goku, it was just an excuse.

Just to clarify what Super Saiyan Rose is in the anime. Basically there are two ideas: it's either Black's version of normal Super Saiyan or his version of Blue. It was stated his version of Super Saiyan by the show runners but evidence also supports it being Blue as Zamasu is a God and Super Saiyan God turning into a Super Saiyan is what Blue is, so in this sense Rose is just a recolor of Blue.

Dude. This is Trunks' ultimate culmination of all his experiences and tragedies. What he goes through, it all brought him to this moment. He explodes with power! I don't know if it's been fully explained... need to do some googlefu. But Trunks is now on par with Goku and Vegeta at the very least. Honestly, I believe he's stronger than them at this point. It sort of ignores that rule. But because of the time ring. Zamasu managed to live. That's what I understand but I could be wrong.
I think it's less ignoring that rule and more because Black is actually the Zamasu from the main timeline, which means that Black wouldn't have been able to go meet up with the future Zamasu from the trunks timeline. So killing Zamasu before he would have been able to even start his plan in the universe of his origination actually would have backdoored the problem since the future timeline never would have been affected going forward. But the time ring negates things that happen previously in time relative to themselves(I.E. the death of yourself in the past due to time travel shenanigans), turning Black into this kind of living paradox where he shouldn't exist but is being sustained by the ring.

Zamasu and Goku Black are some of my favorite villains because he actually believes that he is righteous for killing all mortals when people keep saying that it is genocide, and also because Zamasu and Goku Black have... kind of, an origin, like... people like Frieza and Jiren and Hit, they are just introduced, and you don't get any origins, like their childhoods and stuff, like why they are the way that they are, (Jiren kind of has an origin, but that was dry as hell, it was a horrible origin), anyway, a select few like Piccolo, or Piccolo Jr. Had good reasoning and stuff for why he was a villain in the early days, Cell had an origin, and a great one at that, Dr. Gero/Android 20 had reasoning to kill Goku, and things like that, but they were put in to just be evil off of the bat, like Cell's purpose was to kill Goku, so even though he had an origin he was already set on the evil path by Dr. Gero, and Piccolo Jr. Was kind of on the same path due to his father, and so on and so forth, and that is why I like Zamasu and Goku Black, because you got to see the build up to him, because when he was introduced Zamasu say that Zamasu had a curiosity, but he gradually grew more and more resentful and had his philosophy manifest due to the events that happened with Goku and such, so you got to his his mind change alone with him during this arc, and I really like that about Zamasu's character, he wasn't just evil off of the bat, and I really liked that.
Sad part is that we the audience DO see where Black and his future counterpart are COMING from. We understand WHY they have such a big disdain towards humanity. They're not really wrong in that regard. But as Gowasu tried to teach them, even gods are not perfect and are just as capable of making mistakes just as we humans do. But they just could only see the bad in humans and that's it. They do not see the bad we do. If they did, it made little of a difference since we see the bad more than the good. We understand why they hate humans but their actions does not make it right at all. As far as I'm concerned, they're killing a shit ton of innocents.
Rosè is really only a Zamasu equivalent of blue. Also the “new” trunks transformation is exclusive to him but it’s absolutely just an unbelievable rage.

Rose is specific to Black, it's not a new level for Goku and Vegeta to attain. Also, I don't know that Trunks' rad transformation has an "official" name but "unofficially" I've seen it called Saiyan Rage Trunks. To me it looks like he's picked up a bit of Super Saiyan Blue from being around Goku and Vegeta but hasn't gone completely over the edge.

I love this franchise to death and would never ask it to be anything less than what it already is (perfection). But I also can't help myself from trying to remind people that DB time travel is some of the most convoluted author wish fulfillment in Manga fiction.
Considering Trunks got Super Saiyan Rage the same emotionally-induced way as Goku's SS1 and Gohan's SS2, and that Goku had to brute force his way to SS3 via the afterlife, I personally believe Super Saiyan Rage is the TRUE Super Saiyan 3. The SS3 we know is probably the Grade 2/3 of SS2.
Super saiyan Rosé is more or less exclusive to Goku Black Iirc, it's the result of a saiyan body transforming into SSGSS (aka super saiyan Blue), while the body is occupied by the soul of a deity - that being Zamasu's in the case of Black.

Can't remember if they actually explain this in the anime but Rosé is what happens when a saiyan has an actual god's ki and tries to go super saiyan blue. So Zamasu in a saiyan's body would lead to Rosé if he tried to go blue

I just watched this episode for the first time today and it has brought back my hope for this show. For me Super has been a snoozefest up until this point. Brings back that feeling of gohan stepping up to the plate to fight cell and turning ssj2. The main heroes being defeated and a side character coming in with this type of power is exactly what I needed to see to keep the hype alive.
Jack just needs to forget about the whole super sayin rose, it's obviously just a thing Zamasu can do in Gokus body. Probably something to do with both ki mixing.

Zamasu and Goku Black are some of my favorite villains because he actually believes that he is righteous for killing all mortals when people keep saying that it is genocide, and also because Zamasu and Goku Black have... kind of, an origin, like... people like Frieza and Jiren and Hit, they are just introduced, and you don't get any origins, like their childhoods and stuff, like why they are the way that they are, (Jiren kind of has an origin, but that was dry as hell, it was a horrible origin), anyway, a select few like Piccolo, or Piccolo Jr. Had good reasoning and stuff for why he was a villain in the early days, Cell had an origin, and a great one at that, Dr. Gero/Android 20 had reasoning to kill Goku, and things like that, but they were put in to just be evil off of the bat, like Cell's purpose was to kill Goku, so even though he had an origin he was already set on the evil path by Dr. Gero, and Piccolo Jr. Was kind of on the same path due to his father, and so on and so forth, and that is why I like Zamasu and Goku Black, because you got to see the build up to him, because when he was introduced Zamasu say that Zamasu had a curiosity, but he gradually grew more and more resentful and had his philosophy manifest due to the events that happened with Goku and such, so you got to his his mind change alone with him during this arc, and I really like that about Zamasu's character, he wasn't just evil off of the bat, and I really liked that.
Sad part is that we the audience DO see where Black and his future counterpart are COMING from. We understand WHY they have such a big disdain towards humanity.
They're not really wrong in that regard. But as Gowasu tried to teach them, even gods are not perfect and are just as capable of making mistakes just as we humans do.
But they just could only see the bad in humans and that's it. They do not see the bad we do. If they did, it made little of a difference since we see the bad more than the good.
We understand why they hate humans but their actions does not make it right at all. As far as I'm concerned, they're killing a shit ton of innocents.

Also, I don't know that Trunks' rad transformation has an "official" name but "unofficially" I've seen it called Saiyan Rage Trunks. To me it looks like he's picked up a bit of Super Saiyan Blue from being around Goku and Vegeta but hasn't gone completely over the edge.

Considering Trunks got Super Saiyan Rage the same emotionally-induced way as Goku's SS1 and Gohan's SS2, and that Goku had to brute force his way to SS3 via the afterlife, I personally believe Super Saiyan Rage is the TRUE Super Saiyan 3. The SS3 we know is probably the Grade 2/3 of SS2.

The actual form name is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Blue is just a nickname. Its a Super Saiyan with God Ki. Goku attained God Ki through a ritual, Zamasu had God Ki since he is a Kai.

Can't remember if they actually explain this in the anime but Rosé is what happens when a saiyan has an actual god's ki and tries to go super saiyan blue. So Zamasu in a saiyan's body would lead to Rosé if he tried to go blue

Super Saiyan Rose is basically Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, but in its purest form, as it's achieved by a Saiyan who's already a God; in this case, Zamasu in Goku's body. So you could say that the "true" Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan colors are actually pink and not blue

I just watched this episode for the first time today and it has brought back my hope for this show. For me Super has been a snoozefest up until this point. Brings back that feeling of gohan stepping up to the plate to fight cell and turning ssj2. The main heroes being defeated and a side character coming in with this type of power is exactly what I needed to see to keep the hype alive.
Jack just needs to forget about the whole super sayin rose, it's obviously just a thing Zamasu can do in Gokus body. Probably something to do with both ki mixing.
