Love this video i used to go to Pilanesberg in morning get bored then go to Marakele then back to jhb .... That drive up to Lenong is Brutal . Love braais bru lekker meat .
True, the drive up to Lenong is something else, Going up is ok, but the constant braking when driving down can be a bit too much. Nothing like a braai in the bush. Thank you Riaaz
Aaaah, music to my ears. I was a bit anxious, especially after I'd posted the pics on Instagram, before the TH-cam upload. Thank you Christiaan, It means a lot .
It's been a while, but I have a long Kruger trip lined up soon, Should be able to produce at least 2 videos before the end of February. Thank you for the continual support Phuluso.
I really do enjoy your videos. Helps me escape from this dreary weather. You seem to catch the essence of the bush. Rhinos are extraordinary creatures. I was very fortunate to have done a guided walk in the Matopas in Zimbabwe. BUT... That road to the viewpoint point 😱😱😱😱 Rewarding though. Keep up the good work.
Rhinos are extraordinary creatures, it's a just shame we have to dehorn them for their own safety. I'd love to do Zimbabwe one day, all of Southern Africa. The drive to the viewpoint is exhilarating. Thank you Peter
We really needed this one. We are going to the Kruger now in November. I really miss the park. Thank you Søs. It's always a pleasure interacting with you. 4 months to go for you, hang in there.
8ta nice one again, u can't stop amazing us hey loved it, and I had u will be doing an awesome one with Xipandza Mananga wow it will be a big one. Please continue doing a very good job. Thanks a lot
Yes, I'll be in Lower Sabie with Xipandza Mananga. I'm already in the park, he'll join me soon. Thank you Frans, I'm happy that you enjoyed the video, it's all I could hope for. Keep well.
Thank you for your well edited videos, I was truly inspired. I will be following in your foot steps and go to Morakele National Park. There is already an argument between myself and my partner because she prefers a tented camp (Tlopi tented camp) while I prefer a ground tent like you did. Needless to say we will come to an agreement somehow. Good bless you and your wife and wish you a happy long union👍
For me, Tlopi looked ok, but I doubt I'd book it. The view from the deck is alright though. Hopefully you'll win the debate and camp in Bontle 😀. Thank you Justice, I'm glad that our videos inspire you to also visit these places, because that's what living is all about. Your blessings very much appreciated. Wishing you all the good things in life.
Namaqualand!! I'm actually planning on doing the Kgalagadi next year. That would be awesome, to kill 2 birds with one stone. Thank you Levi. Let's communicate via DMs.
I'm going to the Kruger soon, my luck will really be tested then 😀. The scenery is certainly therapeutic, and the braais are a big element of every camping trip.
So, two questions. You put something that looked like soy onto your spuds. What was it? Where did you get the lamb tjops at the end? They look awesome - so thick and juicy. Oh, a bonus third - what's in your dry rub spice bottle? Comment for good luck to prove it's not just about the food: His comment is that we're not flying all that way and spending all that money to go on "that" road...the road up to the lookout. I'm hanging out for That Road.
1. It's actually Balsamic Vinegar, I love the acidity. 2. I bought the lamb chops at PnP Lemon Tree, Alberton. 3. The Rub: biltong spice, garlic powder, onion power, white pepper (ground), black pepper (ground), cayenne pepper, lemon zest (ground), mixed herbs, paprika, a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of turmeric. The road to the lookout point is definitely worth it, I'd do it again. Overall Marakele is worth visiting, doesn't cost as much as the Kruger (fuel - One full tank is sufficient: Driving from Alberton). Thank you Jolead, your interaction and support is appreciated 🙌

Easy road, that. Drive on the horizontal part. No problem. 🎉😊

Awesome video, it's or Rhinos. Some of The elephants in Marakele are so cheeky.
At least you had an elephant encounter 😀. I searched and searched for Ellies with no luck. Thank you Maemu
Would love to see videos of your camping food with recipes!
I'd love to do that one day, have a cooking channel about dishes made in the bush, you've sparked something there. Thank you for watching Tobias.
Awesome video! Re a le boha, from a pale Southern Mountainman 😂😊
Thank you, it's always a pleasure to visit these places, record some footage and share with you guys. I'm sure you enjoyed the mountainous landscape.
Great episode, brother! I'm seriously considering visiting this place in the near future.
You should definitely do it soon after our Kruger trip. Thank you brother 🙏
Great video! Missed you guys ... happy anniversary and God bless. ❤
It feels good to be back in the bush again. Our sanity depends on it 😀. Thank you Annemarie, be blessed 🙌. Thank you for always watching.

Thank you Mpho. You are more than welcome to join us, you can DM me on Facebook or Instagram (Northern Bushman).
First time watcher! Awesome video, we should hook up sometime. Planning to do a 9 day Namaqualand trip August 2025.
Namaqualand!! I'm actually planning on doing the Kgalagadi next year. That would be awesome, to kill 2 birds with one stone. Thank you Levi. Let's communicate via DMs.
Peaceful and therapeutic scenery, and the braai was awesome. Is the luck running out😂😂?

@northern.bushman cannot wait for the uploads
Grootman can you please just upload something 😢
@Chasing_Sunrise_Adventures 😅 Soon, I'm almost done with Episode 1 from my last trip. 3 videos are coming your way 🙌
There are no Rhinoceros at Marakele. Those are African Battle Unicorns 😂😂
Rhinos would definitely be useful in battle 😀, I saw a Rhino (CGI) featured in Gladiator 2 (Trailer). I totally get you. Thank you
