I just calibrated my IMU on my Phantom 4 and for the first time it didn't have me move the aircraft into different positions but I just watched your video it didn't have you do that either.

Thanks so much for sharing this. It was very helpful. Unfortunately, I'm having problems calibrating due to some other issue. When I begin calibrating there is no increase in percentages of IMU1 or 2.
thanks. looks easy enough, following my first flight yesterday losing altitude. now calibration lines on DJI GO ipad coming out yellow, with yellow dot on left of IMU1. the front PH4 lights blinking red. ok, think i got the message. tried cleaning those IMU lenses as you suggest. no different. changed battery, redid it. same. hopefully don't have to send it back. what am i missing ?

I'm trying to calibrate the IMU and getting the temperature error! (warm up). I've taken out the battery for 25 minutes, repeat the process and Keep the error. Here in south Brazil is very cold those days! I don't know what's wrong!!! (I'm using iPhone 5S and DJI GO 4). Thnnk's!
my phantom 4 always ask me calibrate the imu and never golpie the esrilo ppr or anything that can be?

Yes but left the aircraft to cool down for 30 min without the battery if you use it before.. Do the calibration as fast you can after the start up in a absolutely leveled surface! Check the horizontal and vertical level with a professional spirit level instrument before.. A good way is to buy a turntable circular (bull's eye) spirit level instrument and put it in top of your p4 (on DJI logo) to check it.
this video is outdated and no longer applies if updated to the newest firmware, the IMU calibration requires a 6 axis turn of the model.
