The memorial pools are NOT the footprint of the towers. The towers were much much bigger. I just found that out and was a person who wanted to see the twins rebuilt but in no way wanted to be disrespectful to the people that were killed that awful day. 😞🇺🇸🙏

The south fountain was running. I didn’t ask but imagine they were cleaning or doing maintenance
