I had a 2016 Canyon SLT diesel that I religiously maintained. Oil changes @ 25% oil life left, transmission fluid changed every 60k along with the transfer case. Gear oil in the front and rear dif every 60k as well. Truck was awesome until the head gasket took a shit for no reason. . Dealer quoted me over $7,000 to replace just the fucking head gasket at 130k. Got it fixed and the front end needed to be rebuilt a few thousand miles later. Alternator not too long after that, air conditioner compressor shortly after that. New brakes and rotors at 100k. New timing belt at 130k. Got sick of spending every weekend under the fucking thing. Sold the truck in great working order at 160k, the engine blew up a week after I sold it and the guy I sold it to wanted blood. The best little tow truck I ever owned turned into the worst pos I've ever owned in a matter of a few months. These trucks are absolutely designed to get through the warranty period, and then everything will break. I'll NEVER buy a GM product again.

I almost bought a vehicle similar. It was a ⛽️ diesel but, My work is right down the street, takes me less than five minutes. I wouldn't drive the diesel right?That's why I didn't get it.. I just don't drive much. And for the back window, I wish my did have the defroster because it doesn't and I notice it When it snow. And I have a garage to put the truck 🛻 in. And the kind of truck I did by was 2021 Chevrolet, Colorado 4×4 miles less then 4000. It's all black ⚫️ When people look at it they think it's awesome.. Trucks should be trucks, not “innovative”and tech/luxury packed and overpriced. Frontier is as close as it gets to a real truck. That’s unarguable and it’s the last real truck. We have two in my household and they are exemplary vehicles.

I went shopping for a few months and I ended up with a Red Ford Maverick 2023 XLT fully loaded Tremor.It’s just fantastic. High off the ground Great vision Square shape with lots of head room. AC very powerful Seats very comfortable Great for parking in Brooklyn Makes me feel safe. Cheap plastic is real great. Has bind spot monitors Heated seats Clear view out the back with no chicken window and tinted windows are not dark. The red is a orange red so looks very cool. Screen is small but ok. Music/sounds system is fine. Has full size spare tire Bed is not big but good enough for every day basic needs. It fun to drive even in Brooklyn. The only issue is I wish Ford bind spot and land keep’s would make sounds.😢 Also I wish you could put a extra front bumper.

No its not cheap! In West Virginia you could work 80 hours a week and still couldn't afford the cheap flatbed Toyota truck that they wont sell in America.

I've rented these cars TWICE and they drive Soo good and interior is beautiful and performance is top . I love this car sooo much but I love my tundra more

OK, so just got a new 2024 Escape Platinum in Vapor Blue. And it HAULS. Passes most other cars effortlessly, even in normal drive mode. The tech, especially the 13.2" main media screen with Ford's Sync 4, is outstanding and more than a match for any competitor. It's got all of the current safety enhancements like collision avoidance, lane keeping, 360 camera, etc etc. With the 2L Turbo it tows 3500 lb- again, better than most of the competition (and I have a big boat to haul around). And the vapor blue color rocks- have gotten many spontaneous likes from passers-by. Couldn't be much happier.

I'm a Toyota tacoma guy, but their trucks are being made in Mexico, so I feel the quality control is gonna hurt the reliability, so I'm probably gonna look at the Nissan trucks.

Picked up a 2023 F250 STX with the rare 6.8L Gas for 60K and so far, I've enjoyed it. Pulls the 32 FT RV trailer very well. I don't need all them Fufu high end amenities found with the higher trims.

I have the 2018 GMC Canyon Diesel, so far my biggest expense has been replacing the NOX sensor twice within 60,000 miles. First time was under warranty, second time i had to get it replaced at the dealer which cost me $650.00. I might need to start buying some tools to do my own replacements in future.

Good video but you forgot to mention the Off Rodeo benefit. I told every salesperson I spoke with I was absolutely not going to buy a vehicle with a three cylinder engine. Odd numbers of cylinders are inherently flawed, and many manufacturers have had problems trying odd cylinder configurations. I am pleased with my Badlands. When you say more power with the 2.0 engine, that is an understatement. It's really fast!.
