I put a T3 163" on my 2011 XP. It is awesome. It climbs with very little throttle. I only changed drivers from 8 to 7 tooth. And also lowered suspension 1.5".
I live in Texas, but just bought a second home in Idaho. A 2016 174 rev xm 3inch, with 504 miles on it came with the purchase. Never been on a snow machine in my life. Can I self learn, or will I end up in the news?
I’m 15 and I have nearly 20k miles of experience on trail and a small amount off trail. Should I get on of these to get into the sport? I have a buddy who has one, he rides it on trail and backcountry. I would be doing a mix of both up here in maine

Awesome! Just start asking around at the local dealership. I'm sure there are ride groups you can go out with.
If you have ridden a dirtbike you'll be okay. But don't go alone in case you can't dig yourself out. And don't tell anyone you're from out of state...
