Donaldson was traded for 4 or 5 players in kind. His MVP Season in Toronto kicked off after losing his salary arbitration case against Toronto and went on to have arguably the best season for any player in Blue Jay history (which is rather crazy considering they won b2b world series with like 5 hall of famers in that line up). 2016. Donaldson and the Jays once again have salary arbitration issues. Ended up with like a 29m 2 year contract. 16/17 seasons he was hit with injuries, but thrived in the playoffs versus Texas. 2018 he was diagnosed with Dead Arm Syndrome. After being put as a DH only to get injured again, he was traded late August to the Indians. Another injury, he didn't return until September then wasn't resigned. However the Braves did.
