I went to high school with Matt bush at mission bay high school in San Diego. Didn’t really know him just had a few classes with him and probably talked maybe once or twice. He was a big deal around town even more so after he got drafted number 1 by the home team. Years later people kind of forgot about him but I remember watching that scuffle between the blue jays and rangers and I saw the pitcher was named Matt bush and I was thinking, that name sounds familiar. Then I realized it was the same Matt bush. I was like wtf is happening. It was so surreal lol

Hitters celebrate all the time without anything happening. They just can't stand there, flip the bat, take 30 seconds to round the bases, beat their chests, point at the pitcher... imagine if a pitcher pointed at the hitter, threw his glove up in the air, did a cartwheel, and bowed to the crowd every big strikeout...

Ive played and watched baseball all my life and every time ive witnessed someone hit someone in the head they immediately have sympathy for that person
Usually the throw is up and in, mostly aiming for the ribs. Pitchers aren't perfect though and a ball will ride up further and sometimes guys get hit in the head. I'm not saying they never aim for the head, because some pitchers are pieces of shit, but it is very rare that a pitcher would aim for someone's head.
