The thing about the SINGER competition that I loved was that every competitor was a star. And KZ held her own. I watched the entire series in 2018. Great stuff.

Exactly where you paused, talking about who might have come in second, the second place winner was on your screen. It was Hua Chenyu, the younger Chinese fella. He's actually kind of similar to KZ - rapping, singing, a bit of everything. He was heard to have said, during this performance by KZ that this was his favourite performance of all that he'd seen on this show.
The person who came in second was the face that you paused on when you said that you wanted to see who came in second. His name is Hua Chenyu and he should have been in first place but because Jessie J was the first western artist that performed in this competition they gave Jessi J first place to show their appreciation. Hua Chenyu was a replacement artist so he did not come into the competition until the fourth episode. Jessie J had come in first place for the first 3 episodes because she did not have any competition up until that fourth episode where Hua Chenyu put an end to her dominance. She only came in first place two more times after that while Hua Chenyu came in first place 5 times in head to head against her. So if you really want your mind blown, you need to start watching Hua Chenyu performances. Most people either start with "Nunchucks" or "WuKong".

I had absolutely no idea but I have added his name to the list as a new artist to react to :)
She was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jessie J ended up winning, however, many thought this was the best song in the entire competition.
