@@Bufflunch yeah, and the batagor served in that restaurant probably has more high quality ingredients compared to the one i used to have. So fair enough. But, i prefer Ayam Penyet as daily staple food. Batagor is just a brunch, or pre-dinner meal, eaten while you get bored waiting for bus on the sidewalk after work.

in Indonesia cheese is used for sweet foods almost never used for salty food maybe only fried chicken and there is no main food ingredient made from cheese Indonesian main dishes are mostly made from spices, and avocado is also not used for food but for drinks such as juice or mixed ice, because basically avocado is a fruit not a vegetable, I was quite surprised when western people eat avocado in a different way and mix it with food like in Japan avocado is also considered a vegetable makes me very surprised. But suddenly realized that we are very diverse and different, this is very interesting, right?

As Indonesian I still amazed how our ancestor mixed and created the magical taste. Sometimes it's just popped up in their head and just a blink of an eye becomes the food. Well, the coffee shop need to add the black coffee added with the Charcoal. I'm sure that's weird but amazing.
As an Indonesian, who often eats ayam penyet as lunch, it's weird to see "ayam penyet" in which the chicken is not actually "dipenyet" (smashed and pressed) 😅. And the Gado-Gado which looks pretty. But then again, of course it is in a restaurant, it would not look like street food in Indonesia.

Ah, the mugs are so "indonesian". Usually we also have that chicken mug, white mug with rooster painting. So typical Indonesian. Good video. Also kopi susu is also similar to Vietnamese caphé su da (mipk coffee). Slight different since in Vietnam they use robusta coffee, in Indonesia each coffee place has its own recipe, some use blend coffee.

U will get 5small meat ball,1big meatball, 1 big meatball with boiled egg in it,shredded chicken,fried tofu,2 kind of noodles in 1 bowl only for 1.3usd. And i will bring u to Satay Madura too,grilled meat with peanut sauce.u can choose goat meat,beef or chicken. So many tasty food. Hope u can visit indonesia and taste many tasty food. 😉

I'm so glad you really like them ❤️ if anyone here confused by the cheese, you'll be more surprised that we put a lot of cheese in out desserts 😂 before pizza and pasta and other savory stuff, we (well at least me) always thought that cheese is a dessert thing 😂 and it's always white cheddar, not mozzarella or parmesan or other, it's always cheddar. Huge appreciation from Indo 🇮🇩
To be honest we now also look at white cheddar differently because of how well it works in desserts. We love your cultures food and hopefully we get to try more dishes in the future. 🤤😊
@@Bufflunch Also this world has a lot of spices, mostly in Asian countries (like India, Indonesia, and China). They use very different types of spices and experimenting with new recipes so well. When you move to Indonesia for about 6-12 months and come back to Europe you will find most of the food in europe a bit bland haha, that happens a lot. But actually food in Indonesia also very salty to me (maybe because they use rice all the time as main carbo while im not)

Fyi: As for coffee, whenever we drink it with sugar, we prefer brown or palm sugar, instead of cane sugar. It tastes better that way. Apart from Gado-gado (that's already well known), we also have Karedok, Ketoprak or even Lalapan that is also vegetarian.. Oh, if you like the grilled banana, try martabak manis. There are 2 kinds of martabak, manis (sweet) and telur (savory coz it uses egg). The sweet one is like a super thick pancake on steroids with topping, the classic topping would be cheese, chocolate, and crushed peanut. I wonder if you can find it in your city. Fun fact: foreign travelers in Indonesia says KFC and McDonald's in Indonesia is more tasty and flavorful than the ones in their countries.. I can't confirm nor deny since in only tried the one in Indonesia..

U will get 5small meat ball,1big meatball, 1 big meatball with boiled egg in it,shredded chicken,fried tofu,2 kind of noodles in 1 bowl only for 1.3usd.
And i will bring u to Satay Madura too,grilled meat with peanut sauce.u can choose goat meat,beef or chicken.
So many tasty food.

I'm so glad you really like them ❤️ if anyone here confused by the cheese, you'll be more surprised that we put a lot of cheese in out desserts 😂 before pizza and pasta and other savory stuff, we (well at least me) always thought that cheese is a dessert thing 😂 and it's always white cheddar, not mozzarella or parmesan or other, it's always cheddar. Huge appreciation from Indo 🇮🇩
To be honest we now also look at white cheddar differently because of how well it works in desserts. We love your cultures food and hopefully we get to try more dishes in the future. 🤤😊

@@Bufflunch Also this world has a lot of spices, mostly in Asian countries (like India, Indonesia, and China). They use very different types of spices and experimenting with new recipes so well.
When you move to Indonesia for about 6-12 months and come back to Europe you will find most of the food in europe a bit bland haha, that happens a lot. But actually food in Indonesia also very salty to me (maybe because they use rice all the time as main carbo while im not)

But find other banana, maybe at asia market, because south asia have different banana for cook and for fruit. Dont forget to mix with condense milk, sprinkles chocolate (or nutella), and cheese. You can fry banana to with flour or bake it.

Fyi: As for coffee, whenever we drink it with sugar, we prefer brown or palm sugar, instead of cane sugar. It tastes better that way.
Apart from Gado-gado (that's already well known), we also have Karedok, Ketoprak or even Lalapan that is also vegetarian..
Oh, if you like the grilled banana, try martabak manis. There are 2 kinds of martabak, manis (sweet) and telur (savory coz it uses egg). The sweet one is like a super thick pancake on steroids with topping, the classic topping would be cheese, chocolate, and crushed peanut. I wonder if you can find it in your city.
Fun fact: foreign travelers in Indonesia says KFC and McDonald's in Indonesia is more tasty and flavorful than the ones in their countries.. I can't confirm nor deny since in only tried the one in Indonesia..
