I’ve been on this route in real life, my favourite parts are 1.When the train leaves Preston there is an awesome stretch of track where you are going 125 mph. 2.When the train passes through the Lake District the scenery is beautiful.
The line to Barrow in Furness goes off to the left at Carnforth before splitting to the the left with the line to Leeds, I know this because it live in Barrow!

Oh and when you read the station name sign at oxenholme and it said the Lake District, it's wrong, in real life it say's "the gateway to the Lake District" . It's on the edge of the Lake District.

While you have found the glitch in Train Simulator Qwerty, this glitch is not limited to the Class 390s, I have found them in a number of old dlcs. You might want to check other old Train Simulator DLC if they have a similar glitch.

You should do the Afternoon Squeeze scenario by adama045 when you cover the NLL. And I think DTG should've done the Watford DC line, or the Gospel Oak to Barking bit. The NLL is way to linear and boring. Not much you can get out of it.

The way the speed set works is is you go downhill' it will deactivate, and even when you're level you can't move the power handle, otherwise deactivation. Watch PTG Rail's video of the Trent Valley, he explains it better.
I know that you wouldn't care about it anymore but what do you think about the prices for the DLC, I personally think that they should put the prices way down as I have quite a lot of DLC now and I never think it is ever worth the full value even when on sale. What do you value most of the DLC at? Do you think the people who moan about the prices have a point?
+Tom Walker I think if the quantity and quality justified the actual price then I think there would be no argument against it. if multiple train and/or branch lines came with one £25 add on would make it much more appealing like how MSTS add ons were structured
Fair enough, it does however seem still too much compared to other simulators, FSX addons like PMDG are quite obviously worth the full 40 pounds while I can't see why some route addons for TS are still kept at 25 pounds, the old ones like Settle to Carlisle are not really up to standard compared to the new ones.

Acceleration isn't slow on this train, it can do 0-60 in about three minutes. Having the throttle at notch one does not exactly give you the best power output. I normally got into notch two when departing and push it up to notch three if it's below 20mph, and notch four if above that. Notch one I only use when I need to push it up whilst coasting or to get up Beattock or Shap summits. I normally try not to go below Step Three of braking (-17%) though I do do this often cause of bad judgements. That branch line at Oxenholme is towards Windermere, usually operated by TransPennine Express 185s. As for the train length, 31 of the 9-car sets were extended to 11-car between 2011 and 2012, same year when the four extra eleven coach sets were constructed, one intended to replace the scrapped unit that derailed at Grayrigg in 2007. The nine car sets were built between 2001 and 2004, introduced in 2002/2003 I believe, with 22 sets still as nine car units, though them units have had Coach G (First Class) converted to Coach F (Standard Class). Btw, the Class 166 substitutes for the Class 185. But on the argument of linear North London Line, it doesn't matter if it is beautiful, Trent Valley was beautiful, but it's boring in the long run. WCML Over Shap scenery might be bland, but it wasn't made with custom assets, typical of many routes by Krossrails alone. Btw, don't use Cruise Control on this train, it sucks cause it doesn't stop you overspeed on gradients, nor does it stop you speeding, it's better to actually drive a train :P

I remember going on this route the week before virgin trains was cancelled. Was such a good operator still lies in my heart.

Speed set works fine, it cuts back the power, doesn't boost it. Leave power at 100% and engage speed set and it works.

yeah. Goes to Windermere in the heart of the Lake District via Kendal. Doesnt loop round to anywhere just terminates.

This route was based off the 70s and 80s. You would expect a station to change at least a little after 40 years.
