I had the same engine failure, hill assist and starting system fault. Thanks to your video i checked the 10 amp fuse, sure enough it was blown. Replaced it and car started up!!! Thank you!!!
PATS should be relearn after swap the PCM from Ebay, that system can't be plug and play, the key won't let start the engine till pair the PATS. Thanks for the info!

You can start with checking all the fuses. Make sure no relays are missing. That doesn't mean you have to put a fuse and relay in every empty spot. Other than this someone specialized has to look at it.
Have a 2015 Focus SE 2.0L Hit a deer on driver side in front. Dash glitches. Sacs we intermittently says key is not in on position. Checked relay and fuses. PATS could be an issue. No PCM changed yet. Want to check PCM but under car to get to. Wonder if I have to go that far. Also to check for 12 volts at starter difficult to get to. Any easier way than removing intake manifold to get to it?

@@DallasAutoDiag I met the local technician, he said to reach out ford dealership or contact locksmith with ford id. He also gave the contact of locksmith. First i reached dealership, they gave the estimation of 2800$+. Then i contacted locksmith he did the work for 150$. And now my car is working fine. Note: The pcm i bought from Flagship was not programmed. It’s a fraud website. Thanks.
I have an 09 Focus 1.6 TDCI with similar fault. No crank. PATS is showing error 1:6. Dash is displaying DTC U2510. Forscan won't connect. Checked canbus at OBD. 60 ohms. Good signals on a scope. Good continuity between OBD and PCM. Power and grounds all good at PCM. Checked fuses and battery. +12 from ignition gets to PCM and ECU relay is operating. If I power up PCM on a bench it draws 200-300mA but Forscan won;t connect. Checked solering on dash pcb connector. Found some cracks, resoldered but made no difference. Is PCM dead? Will PATS stop Forscan connecting to PCM? Anything else I could check?

I have a bad problem with a truck its a 2014 escape also involve in an accident truck drains my battery real quick and has a missfire on two cylinder even do they have spark,180 compression, new spark plug ,coils dont make any sense i think its got a short
Its driving me crazy only has 49k miles and i check compression came back 180 psi ,new original spark plugs coils motorcraft they are firing also switch injectors 1 to 2 and 4 to 3 and problem stays on 2 and 3 they have voltage radio dosent work had a short which i found a wire touchinf ground and was blowing the obd port fuse after that no more blown fuses battery drains in less then a day
@@hugoparedes85 battery drains in less than a day huh. you have a big problem there. I would first focus on the battery drain before looking at the misfire. they might be related. Take a look at my las video I uploaded and use the same technique to find out which circuit you have the draw from. then update the comment here.
Hi I see the engine ligth flick and thats the problem I'm having when i turn the key before starting its flicks when I start no engine ligth the car lacks power and drinks fuel anyone with some help please New injectors are in the car coil packs are fine no vaccume leaks
i had a problem like this no comm with the pcm or scan tool make sure that main connecter is fully seated in the bjb it can cause no start no communication and your dash will say engine fault

Long story short fuse #36 in engine compartment replaced and the engine started.

I think you can get to it by removing the driver side wheel and then the fender liner. I suspect wiring damaged or maybe pcm harness disconnected.

`i would fix the PATS issue first, then double check my powers and grounds at the pcm, if no comm then get new pcm.

Is it 4 or 6 cylinders? Which cylinders do you have misfire on? Which side was your accident?
