DG weren't particularly strong in the later half of 9th, mostly due to being very predictable and unable to react (lack of mobility, explosive damage). While some are ... lets say annoyed, that we lost -1D, I like that our damage output has increased significantly in a game which is far less leathal and where one needs to move around the field. Sticky objectives (until the end/start of a turn) has proven surprisingly good for me. We can move around on the battlefield, forcing our opponent to actually move onto our objectives. Also our high toughness with less ap and less psychic mortal wounds is pretty good, we are tough! Combine that with being able to move through models, I'd say we're in better shape than end of 9th. At least fun wise - being slow and grinding against stuff becomes stale fast.
It’s not so much that DG are bad, it’s that so many factions are so much better. If you see well respected analysts rating them 1 out of 5, you have to accept that they’re just not in the same league as Dust Marines or Sisters.

DG are nifty. -2 damage combo
DG in 10th atm are absolute trash tier... just shelf them for another 3 years like in 9th edition... or sell them and send a middle finger copy to GW
I doubt they will gain any buffs, just like they did not get them in 9th. They didnt even fix Typhus in all of 9th.
They only gut itsy bitsy minor shit that everybody else got anyway... so no real buffs. Talking Armor of Contempt and free wargear.
Deathguard players are so tilted they don't even realize their rules are actually good 😂😅😂
Wtf are you actually talking about, we’re worse off compared to every other legion.
@@MrTumnus1987 Shhhh just be wrong quietly please
