🎵 Christian thanks for another magnificent video. Life on piano would be so barren and difficult without your wonderful instructional TH-cam postings! Cheers! 👍🎵

What a great video!! I learnt a lot from this and love the Johnnie Johnson style run which sounds great and is so useful for linking licks and coming out of other licks. This was exactly what I was needing. Great stuff, thank you Christian🙏

    Hi Christian again,
I have sent the link of this video to one of our amateur band members ( he is actually a pro) here is what he had to say:
This is an excellent instructional video explaining some fundamental blues "chops" in the key of "G". The instructor is also quite funny with his remarks about single malt scotch, spice... etc.
There is much to learn and absorb from this video, and everything he explains is of course applicable to blues scales in any key, but it is fortunate that he chose "G" as the finger positions are easier, in my opinion, in the keys of "C" and "G"....although there are also some unique benefits to playing the blues scales in "A", "D", and "E" with regards to what one can do in those keys.
Great video....and we can discuss further if you wish.
I think he does a great job (much better than I) in explaining the fundamentals of blues piano playing....he's obviously a very good player.
B.t.w. here is one of our tunes:th-cam.com/video/wDIXOisyIJc/w-d-xo.html

so wonderful Chris. Check out the blues piano lessons from paddy milner. He is not so good a teacher as you are. your teaching is better but he plays some pretty nasty blues piano in cool styles. Maybe some inspiration there for you to teach us. Thanks for all the great lessons. Let them keep comming.

Super! I was wondering if you would include a brief instruction in one of your future tutorials about what to do with that strange object that sits on the floor beside my feet. Oh, it's a pedal. I've no idea how to apply, when to apply and when to let go. Appreciate any tips you may offer. As always, I love your teachings!

The last two minutes are GOLDEN. But I always want a cold Diet Coke WITHOUT the warm single malt scotch when I watch though.

Hi Christian, greeting from Canada from an old Berliner. I love very much your new format. Earlier stuff kind of overwhelmed me, I could not follow. My 80 year old brain was just overtaxed. This is great stuff.
    Thank you
