    I’ve had one for three years. I came in to my two year old seemingly ripping up the keys and I just discovered that there are preprogrammed songs for playback. I never knew this. My two year old daughter seems to know how to do it at will. I don’t know how. I can’t figure it out. That’s why I’m here.
    Really really rrrrrrrreally threw me for a loop when I heard a maestro playing my piano knowing it was my two year old daughter. I came around the corner and she was smiling rocking side to side hitting keys and for a split hair of the slightest of seconds I was very very confused. She looked the part. She acted the part. But alas. She’s gonna fake it til she makes it 😂
    Definitely had to gather myself for a quick moment 😂

      There is a diagram in the book that came with your piano. Each note on the piano, together with Function, can actually do something different. Try function and the second C from the left, for example.

    My Piano has a problem and I used to know how to fix it but now I forgot and can’t find anything that tells me how. When I press a key meaning to use piano (the quiet dynamic) and when I press a key meaning to use forte (the loader dynamic) they both sound the same, both piano and forte. They are meant to be different, piano quieter when I press more gently on the keys and forte being louder when I press harder on the keys, but it’s not working it’s giving me the same sound. I have had this problem before and fixed it by pressing a key but I don’t remember how to anymore and I need dynamics for I piece that I need to play

    I have a Yamaha p45 too, just yesterday though I noticed that the sound when playing sounds muffled, I played with the settings which I have to say I have never changed from factory settings.i keep it on grand piano always. I had guests over and the kids played with it so I'm assuming something got changed. I tried the factory reset as you suggested to someone in comments here but it's still the same. Any adviceas to what I can do to correct this? Thank you

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      If a factory reset has not solved the issue, it sounds like there could be a problem with the piano itself, I would contact yamaha customer services directly, especially so if the pianos warranty is still valid! Hope this helps - Sam

    Is there a way to play a demo song

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Taken from the manual -
      While holding down [GRAND PIANO/
      FUNCTION], press one of the C1 - A1
      keys to start playback.
      This operation starts playback of the Demo Song
      of the Voice assigned to the pressed key. Starting
      with the selected Song, playback will continue in
      sequence.

    Is there a reverb feature on this keyboard? Is there a feature where you can use sustain without using sustain pedal? I want to buy this keyboard but having a bit dilemma buying it.

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      4 different types of reverb on board!
      While holding down [GRAND PIANO/FUNCTION], press one of the C5 - E5 keys to change between the lengths, starting from small to large decay lengths.
      The P45 comes with a sustain pedal, however there are pedals available with a polarity switch on them. If you slip this switch with the pedal connected to the opposite polarity, then whatever you play will be sustained until you press the pedal which will cut the notes.
      Hope this helps! - Sam

      Christopher, thanks for this question!
      There is no built in recording on the P-45, we would reccomend either combining this piano with a PC or laptop to record and loop, use a loop pedal and an external speaker, or look at one of Yamahas Arius S35 pianos, that do have a simple recording function built in.
