  • Mark takes a quick trip to Milan in Italy to see one of the very best Xmas markets in Europe. Lots of very interesting stalls and huge crowds right next to Duomo.

This reminds me of the Christmas Markets in Manchester. The aromas of spiced cider and mulled wine and wurst and every other delectable delight!! But what makes it magical IMO is the cold and dark nights, we’re all rugged up, the lights sparkle and the colours glow. Very hard to capture on film.
Aussie markets are great but just so completely different, impossible compare.
    Great video! Thank you.

That's so cool to see and interesting how they take up every little bit of space and use a few different hanging ideas I see that could be helpful with my items. Maybe you'll have to travel to different countries to show us the markets.
I've been watching a few different crochet people and their different setups in countries that are so different than ours in Aus, especially so close to the beaches.
There are so many cool places we could utilize for markets in Australia that get missed and I really wonder if people would like afternoon markets instead of early morning markets in the heat these days. My last market was from 8 to noon in 30 Celsius windy weather and I was sunburnt and heat stroke by the end of it even though I was under a commercial gazebo and people don't linger, they are out of there as soon as they can, so there isn't much chance of second thoughts on buying things they seen and missed

Yes there is definitely a perfect retail type of weather not too cool, not too warm, no wind and no rain. When everything comes together it can be so good. But that's retail. The key is to have everything perfect for each day and get the best out of it you can. If you do this then you should be ok no matter what. But even then you'll have a quiet day for no reason but trust yourself and know you did your best and it just wasn't your day. Same for one of those special days when you have a record day. I have made other episodes on overseas markets at England (Portobello RD), Berlin and Marseille. I plan to visit more overseas next year. Thanks for watching.
