BMW V8 is a real masterpiece.
If BMW would really make a car light like a porche or any other track car , it'll be the fastest car ever since it does have the power and the handling . This is a big heavy car kicking ass . BMW gives everything for the right price .

@@nickl8074 I can't argue about how they're engineered since I don't know , but I do know that BMW's are heavy , yet can beat the shit out of light cars that are meant to be faster . Like the old E46 M3 was 343 HP right , yet it weighed a ton and 600 kgs more or less , with an L6 naturally aspirated engine. Used to kick ass badly , and became a legend . So I know all those cars are a mix of luxury and performance but never a light weighted car they made. The z4 M was still a luxury car with performance. So If BMW did make a light weighted car , on that logic , it would be such a fast bad ass machine.

for laptimes lets not forget the the GT3 RS is about 200lbs lighter than the M3 GTS

2009-2010
The BMW is at least a 2011, when the facelift was done with the e90s.
the Porsche GT3 RS is the 997 which is the 2009-2012 version and the BMW M3 GTS was from 2011

Right, I'll start again, for £120,000 I'd want more than a 3 series BMW, when for £10k less I can have a Porsche Gt3RS. I don't think that is an unreasonable comment. I own a Z4M, I like BMW's but not for £120k in 2011, that I8 is quite nice but again all that money and your sat in a BMW. I feel the same about the Audi R8, lovely car, but all that money for a fucking Audi, nah, keep it, that's like spending £80k on a Ford or £20k on a Tribant.
Uzzy, we all have our own opinions, I'm wasn't looking at resale value but as you said, they are both about the same, £250k for a 3 series, I'd be sick in my mouth. I own a half tidy Beemer but I can't afford either of these cars, all I know is, if I spent that much money, I wouldn't want to be still sat in a BMW. Also, BMW is nowhere near as prestige as a Porsche, different worlds, or not in the same ball park if you're American. It's my opinion, I'm allowed that,,, for now.
I live in England dude, Porsche is but Beemers are pretty much middle of the road, it's like calling Audi a prestige automobile, it isn't, it's middle of the road, IMO. As I said, the R8 is fantastic, well the convertible one is but it's about a 120k and you still have an Audi that looks the same from the front as any other Audi, in fact, the only way to distinguish different Audis is by using a tape measure, they are far too generic. £120k is a load of money for a car, I would want something special. To tell you the truth, I'd buy a 60k second hand Porsche and use the rest on a grand tour of Europe, that would be cool. Obviously not a gt3 but you can get some nice cars in that price range.
It's a bit like class, they only used to have 3, now there's about 10, scum, lower working class, working class, upper working class, lower middle class and so on, :).
With cars you have shit, like saaangoong what ever the fuck it's called, American cars that last a fortnight, then ford, vauxhall, then Jap, then VW, then BMW and Audi, trust me dude, my hand brake I'm sure is off an old Austin Allegro, I have to leave it in gear on flat ground in case someone leans on it. Then Mercedes, then Porsche, then Ferrari, lambos and other super cars, obviously the Le Ferrari is next and the 918 and P1, you have Paganni and that Swedish company that starts with a 'K' :) and I forgot the difference between Bentley and Rolls Royce, you see BMW is in the lower middle class, it's a Marks and Spencer suit at best and a set of tyres costs £500.

Don’t want a BMW out of warranty.
Why? My M3's been out of warranty all 7 years I've had it. Outside of wear and tear stuff and maintenance all it's had go wrong is a rear exhaust manifold crack, a blown radiator hose, and a window regulator in 60k miles.
I've owned 18 cars and the only car I've ever owned that was more reliable were my VW beetles.
