Wanna say a big thanks to you for this video Please can you help me list out the materials I need to get to try it out, because I really want to try it
I’ve watched multiple videos on beginner help and this has been the most informative! Thank you so much girl! I’ve watched it a few times. I’m excited to order the gems this weekend and get started! 💙
This is BEAUTIFUL Jen... I'm thinking of trying this myself. I'll let you know, if I do. Thank you for taking the time to show us an amazing DYI. #LOVEIT
What a great video! Glad you liked the Crystal Katana tool. Yes, there are many tools out there but none that out work the Katana baby! Keep on Sparkling!😍
Hello I just started doing rhinestone tumblers & things for myself .. I'm wondering why I shouldn't use e6000 ? Other than the smell is there any other reason I shouldn't use it ? (Loved this video btw)
I just started to do tumblers and randomly found this video. My first one was literally the exact one u did first as well lol I also didn't sand it, why do u need to sand it? Is the one I made going to have gems fall off now? Lol thank you for all the help in the video!!
They say sanding it roughs it up to have the glue stick better. The gems wont always fall off but it could faster than sanding it. If you do plastic especially you want to sand them
@@DesignerJen awesome! Thank u so much! These videos helped me a lot! I'm also having my hubby make me a holder for them to work on like the video u made lol
Thank you I got my rhinestones and they are beautiful. Working on my first cup. Brought enough to do 5 cups. And yes I got my discount. I got my cups off of Amazon two to a pack. I often come back to your video to rewatch it over. TFS
Do I still need to sand the cup even if I'm not spray painting it? Also I have the stainless steel that I see you sanding but the other cup is a clear plastic one I don't know how that would work with sanding I feel like that type of plastic on the cup can't be sanded correctly
@@DesignerJen oh,ok! I thought the paint water based. So if you wash without sealing the paint would run. Well I'll be a cat's aunt! You learn something new every day 🤣
That is awesome!! Andddd Oh great, a new craft I’ll prb get addicted to if I try it (and of course I am). My husband will just love this! (Detect my sarcasm about husband) ...
So do you mind me asking what the overall cost is to make? From what you described it sounds like anywhere from $30-$40. I’m just curious how much they would sell for?
Yeah, I sell mine for $75 on etsy and barely get any orders. I see others charge more and get a ton of orders so it's really hard to say what's the best price. I should charge more
Does the glue smell like super glue? I glued a big lego set together and had a bad reaction. Ended up in the hospital. But I can use e600 and I can use epoxy. I wanna try to make myself a cup.
Nice, but how did you get your video to start back where it left off two days later? I’m a beginner and I’m trying to get my lives with music, sped up etc. Any advice?
@DesignerJen thanks for responding, how do I get TH-cam music? I cam edit on my computer before I post that's fine but I will like the music in the background thanks.
I love your video! Now I have to make one! What color blue are the rhinestones? I went on the site and their are so many that look like the ones you were using lol I tried to zoom in and see the item number but it did show it clearly..... plz help...and thank you again for the inspiration!

Its sanded so the glue sticks to the cup better, its spray painted to match the jewels incase you mess up and you will not see it. You can glue jewels to the sb cups. I will be doing that sometime in the near future.
couple of questions: does hot or cold liquid in the cup affect the rhinestones staying adhered to the plastic cup? And, does there need to be some finish spray or glue or anything over the rhinestones to keep it safe for washing?
This is a stainless cup and its double walled so no condensation from the cup. Haven't tried hot liquid but I dont think that will do anything either. I would not put anything over the jewels because it will no longer shine/sparkle. The glue is strong. I am currently working on a plastic tumbler to see how well that does, also making a video for it
Pretty! I am working on my second bling tumbler and I had to paint it. What did you do to your tumbler to get rid of the paint smell? I love liquid fusion, I used to use gemtac.
@@DesignerJen That is good to know because I was like, oh I can't sell this to anyone selling like that . Guess I can start back working on it. Thank you for responding back.
hi JEN I have 2 questions, how do you know how far you glue rhinesthones on the top so that I can close the lid and the second is if I can stick a very small line of rhinestone on the base of the glass because I plan to stick my brand label, do you think i can do that? BTW I watch your videos from Mexico City

Can you do an acrylic paint instead of a spray paint. My country don't hv a lot if colors for spray paint
Yes I have used acrylic too but maybe put a seal on it like modge podge. I noticed the acrylic came off a little when washing it

Hello I would like to start making the rhinestone tumbler. Where would you get the tumbler with the round lid. I need to get turoisr and white color
I got that tumbler at Michaels but there are others to choose from that I liked from Stainlesssteeldepot.com
Hello I just started doing rhinestone tumblers & things for myself .. I'm wondering why I shouldn't use e6000 ? Other than the smell is there any other reason I shouldn't use it ? (Loved this video btw)
I've seen others use it, I feel like it comes out of the tube faster but it's still great
Do you have to add spray paint to a plain stainless steel cup?
You do not have to but it matches the jewels easier in case you mess it up or not have a straight line
I was going ask about your cup i saw in another video. And this one poped up on my timeline
Please can you tell me what size rhinestone to use please thanks
Ss16 and ss20

Usually you get a email confirmation, or you can check your credit card to see if it was charged
Great video!!! Very easy to understand your how to!!!
Question… did you spray paint over the sticker on the bottom👀

You should sand on anything you bling, the roughness helps the glue stick to the jewels and cut better.
Hi 🖐🏼7:09 of your video has your daughters hand saying HI, coming from left side under table funny and Adorable! New Subscriber.
Can you use a plastic cup? I got a lot of color cups with lids and straws on clearance from Micheals and I definitely can do this on some of them
I have another video of a double wall cup. The single wall ones can work but use extra glue in case you squeeze the cup
Do you have a tutorial of painting by hand instead of spray paint?
No I do not but I did use acrylic paint them recommend a coat of modge podge to seal the paint
Do you seal the cup afterwards? How do you clean the cup?
No need to seal, it will take the sparkle away. You just gently hand wash it

It's not sponsored, you get a discount code when you create a account but yes the link should still work
ok - thank you!
How do you do the honey comb could you explain do you just go around one under the other

I use gemtec and it barely has a smell to it, I can not remember what super glue smell likes but but I know its a better smell then e6000
Jen I want to ask you, when do you decide when to use glass or resin rhinestones?
glass is better, it lasts longer. The resin is a like a plastic and over time the color will wear down
DesignerJen thank you!!! Love you 😘
Nice, but how did you get your video to start back where it left off two days later? I’m a beginner and I’m trying to get my lives with music, sped up etc. Any advice?

what is the name of the glue

Great job. I enjoyed the conversation. It's the little things that count
Do you have to spray paint it
no you do not, it works better when matching the jewels in case you mess up the colors blend with the jewels and make it less noticable
Thank you for sharing.
What did you do to the bottom? Spray paint only? Are you afraid it will scratch off?
It might scratch off, you can put a sealer on it if needed

I know you said to use spray paint but can you use paint ? And if we can use paint do we sand it and then paint it ?
Yeah you can paint it, I recommend sealing it if you use acrylic paint like modge podge
Do you have to spray paint it?
No you do not but it helps blend with the stones in case you have gaps or something else
love it. These are great for gifts. Do you add care instructions? Thank you so much for the video.
Yes I do, basically says hand wash only, do not leave in extreme heat, be careful and try not to drop
Question: this there a difference in SS and ss when buying rhinestones?
No difference

I have never done it, I just use the glues
Do you seal the spray paint with anything
