You do realize this entire process is really taking 20-32 hours, right?! OMG! this is tedious work, but the result is SO worth it! I only use AB stones. Nothing else will do. 🙂
Hello! New follower! Im home sick just found out i have Lupus and with that said im out of work until the end of July.. I don't want to stay home and be sad so i suddenly decided i want to create me something shinny in pink! I coukd just buy me one but this will help me stay busy and i found just the right oetson to teach me and huide me! I watched your whole video and i love you for being so wonderful at teaching us your techniques. Im excited! Im gping to michaels and get me what i need. Im going to follow your advice and get me a straight tumbler. Question i have a metal one with a kuromi design woukd that be hard to bling out? A acrylic one better for beginners like me?. Much love to you and thank you!
I’m a little confused. You sanded the cup first so the glue could have something to stick to put then you put paint over it so then doesn’t that defeat the purpose of sanding it? Shouldn’t you sand it after you paint it?
Hi im new subbie I really love your work and started fallowing your IG I really want to start business lije tumblers and this is so helpfull. Just a question how long do we wait for the tumblers to be wash proof whwn uaing smodgepudge?
Hiiii Michelle❤❤❤thanks for your lovely videos I wanna ask u about those starbucks’s cups I live in Germany and i wanna buy like those but when i see it in Amazon it looks very expensive From where can i get like them? 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi ! I been watching your videos . For a beginner like me to make tumbler with rhinestone's 🥰 is it ok not to sand the tumbler before starting to make ? I just clean with alcohol .
I have used it when i 1st started blining. It's very difficult to use. It's thick and stringy and the smell of it wasnt so great. Switching to liquid fusion made rhinestoning much easier.
@LilyRoseCraftroom do you ever find that the rhinestones fall off? What is the average lifespan of one of.your tumblers? These are on my list of things to make for gifts :)
I made a Mickey Mouse cup and started from the bottom. As I am working my way up, the rhinestones don't stay as close as the bottom. What do I have to do there? The rhinestones just look separated. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
So do you think it's easier to start from the bottom? I tried twice from the top, once with ss20, the other one with ss16. It's easier with smaller size stone. But i never tried start on the bottom with this curvy type of tumbler.
Your work is gorgeous and your videos are very informative! I was wondering- do you have to paint the tumbler first, or is it dependent on the material of the cup? Also-do I have to put epoxy over it once the rhinestones are on? I heard that if can dull the shine of the stones but I was not sure. Thanks!
NO NO NO, In my research you DO NOT epoxy rhinestone tumblers/cups, it takes away the facets that give the shine/shimmer! They said it would look the same as if you were holding it under water, the light can’t hit the facets in the rhinestones, no bling/shine/shimmer. They only epoxy the “butt”/bottom. I hope this helps 😂
Oh the paint, it’s really personal preference, but painting gives a more clean and polished look to your completed cup/tumbler. Most will paint for that reason, because no matter what there will be small spaces between the stones and the paint behind it just helps it to blend. Most will paint (as Lily did) with acrylic or spray paint a color close to the stones they are using. Whatever you decide on painting (to paint or not to paint) don’t skip the sanding then cleaning of the cup before hand, (even when using steel/metal cup/tumbler) the sanding takes off any factory finishes, oils etc on the cup and gives the glue a more abrasive surface to bite/hold on to ensuring a better grip of the stones (& paint), You don’t want your hard work placing all those stones to be wasted/ruined by stones falling off because you skipped this step.
Question: Where do you recommend for acquiring the cups because I see the list and website for everything else but the cup, i would appreciate it if you can give me the info because I had asked another TH-camr but instead she tried to sell me her custom made ones and I just want to get into this for a hobby. By the way love your tutorial
I bought a red Starbucks cup because I’m using red rhinestones and thought I could skip the painting part. Should I still sand it down before putting the stones on?
Hi, can you please advise. I live in Europe and where im at this glue is not available. What Kind of glue should i look for? With what ingredient or for what uses? This glue you use i see a lot on youtube., but when i read about it, its dedicated for fabruc, Wood. But people still use it on plastic. Does it work on Glass? Im not sure what glue to look for here in my country
Would you recommend just hand washing it? Also over time does the rhinestones come off? I want to start making cups once I get my cricut machine but I want to make sure that they will last
How in the end are the rhinestones protected? Wash after wash & handling I would think one would pop off. I'd love to make this, but I don't want to spend like you said all that time, then 2 months later something falls off.
The rhinestones should not come off when You wash it If You did it correctly. You can't use any sealers to protect it like epoxy etc it WOULD hide all that sparkly Beauty.
What size rhinestone would you recommend for this project? I don't want massive stones, but I don't want them tiny either! Edit: you're video says ss 10, 16, and 20. Where do these sizes go exactly? Is it 20 on the lid's rim, 16 in the middle and 10 on the base?
The tip about flipping your cup over to get a good foundation line. So clever. Thank you!
You do realize this entire process is really taking 20-32 hours, right?! OMG! this is tedious work, but the result is SO worth it! I only use AB stones. Nothing else will do. 🙂

Thank u for all your videos
Do you have to add paint to the cup or can you do it straight on the cup??
Thank you for sharing this wonderful information!! Cup turned out beautiful 😍
Thank you 🥰

What are the tools you are using to apply/move the rhinestones? Love this and looks so relaxing to do! Like you said “therapeutic”…
The tool is a wax picker/rhinestone picker my shop is currently sold out. But Amazon has some🥰
It’s beautiful 😍 simply beautiful 😍 well done 👍
Thank you!🥰
I am just starting on cups we do shirts and other cups and your tutorial is the best one thank you I think I can I think I can omg I think I can lol

New to your channel. You did a good job. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Very helpful thank you for posting these videos !
Thank you for watching!❤️
What kind of glue do you use?
Would you be able to use the same size stone for the entire tumbler if you have for example: a skinny tumbler and not a tapered one?
Yes!
Hi! With this glue can i use hot water please
Loved this tutorial! Thank you 😊
Great Tutorial! Very thorough! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! New Subbie! Looking forward to more!! Stay blessed and wonderful ❤
Do you sell your cups if so where ?
Beautiful 😍 which do you find works better in terms of rhinestones staying on… bob smith slow cure or liquid fusion
Hi im new subbie
I really love your work and started fallowing your IG
I really want to start business lije tumblers and this is so helpfull.
Just a question how long do we wait for the tumblers to be wash proof whwn uaing smodgepudge?
How does the lid fit on with the stones at the top?
Perfectly fine. 😉
What is the name of the tool that you are using to actually pick up the stones and apply them to the cup?
Can you list out every material used? Thanks
Looks amazing 🤩
Can i use any type of cup or mug?
Thanks for the video! Quick question what’s the point in sanding the cup when you want to paint over it
Were getting rid of the smooth surface. Rhinestones stick better when the surface is sanded down.
Hiiii Michelle❤❤❤thanks for your lovely videos
I wanna ask u about those starbucks’s cups
I live in Germany and i wanna buy like those but when i see it in Amazon it looks very expensive
From where can i get like them?
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you I found it very helpful. Now I understand why my rhinestones fall off my cup.
Do you need to use food safe paint?
May i know what kind of rhinestones you use and what size ? Ty
Hi ! I been watching your videos . For a beginner like me to make tumbler with rhinestone's 🥰 is it ok not to sand the tumbler before starting to make ? I just clean with alcohol .
What glue did you use?
Hello.. is the dishwasher safe modpodge Matte finish one? How can I use it?
Which stones should I use for a glass cup? Any link for them?😊
So to begin one cup. How many rhinestones should you have and what sizes. I'm also curious if you want to put a Name on it how does that work.
Very nice! Question, have you ever used the E6000 glue?
I have used it when i 1st started blining. It's very difficult to use. It's thick and stringy and the smell of it wasnt so great. Switching to liquid fusion made rhinestoning much easier.
@LilyRoseCraftroom do you ever find that the rhinestones fall off? What is the average lifespan of one of.your tumblers? These are on my list of things to make for gifts :)
Where do you buy your tumblers from?
Does it dry immediately?
Are you going to finish it up with a glazing resin
No. If you cover it with resin, it wont sparkle much. It blocks the light from hitting the cuts of the rhinestones
How much is the cost for it?
Thank you for the tutorial, really helped ❤
What sizes did u use? Were these AB clear?
I made a Mickey Mouse cup and started from the bottom. As I am working my way up, the rhinestones don't stay as close as the bottom. What do I have to do there? The rhinestones just look separated. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
How long did you wait for the dishwasher safe Mod Podge to dry before you applied your rhinestones?
Until it was clear and dry. Probably about 30 min or so.
where did you get the personalized Lily Rose diamond shape stone made? very nice touch !
It's called a tumbler tag. You can get them on Etsy.
So do you think it's easier to start from the bottom? I tried twice from the top, once with ss20, the other one with ss16. It's easier with smaller size stone. But i never tried start on the bottom with this curvy type of tumbler.
How many packs of rhinestones would I need for a tumbler x
Wow.❤

I'm interested in this too

@@TheLadybugJr thank you SO much for this information!! I appreciate it :)
@@TheLadybugJr that makes a lot of sense! Thank you!
How many bags of rhinestone would we need for a Venti size cup 🥤 🤔 would like to try and make one 😊
About 3 bags of the 5mm
How many rhinestones did you use for this cup?
Question: Where do you recommend for acquiring the cups because I see the list and website for everything else but the cup, i would appreciate it if you can give me the info because I had asked another TH-camr but instead she tried to sell me her custom made ones and I just want to get into this for a hobby. I would say straight from starbucks
I bought a red Starbucks cup because I’m using red rhinestones and thought I could skip the painting part. Should I still sand it down before putting the stones on?
That'll save time😉 yes. I'd still sand. To get the shiny waxy coat off to ensure the stones really stay on
With the tapered cup, do you recommend starting from the top working down or from the bottom working up?
I actually like to start from the bottom. It's easier for me

What's the glue in the bottle name 🤔
Do you buy your cups right out of Starbucks or is there a site to buy in bulk?
Only at Starbucks stores. You cant buy online without being upcharged.
@@LilyRoseCraftroom ok thank you 😊
Would you recommend just hand washing it? Also over time does the rhinestones come off? I want to start making cups once I get my cricut machine but I want to make sure that they will last
I do recommend hand washing. The rhinestones should not come off over time with proper placement and proper care of the cup.
How in the end are the rhinestones protected? Wash after wash & handling I would think one would pop off. I'd love to make this, but I don't want to spend like you said all that time, then 2 months later something falls off.

She shows and explains all that in the video..
How long does this usually take you to finish?
I'd say about 10 hours
@@LilyRoseCraftroom ok thank you because I was wanting to start bedazzling cups as well!!
How many stones did you use in total 😅
Do I have to put epoxy on the bottom?
Absolutely not. Just as extra step to make it look nice. 😉
@@LilyRoseCraftroom thank you because I have a 1 year old & 7 year old that has asthma & their doctor told me that I can’t use it when they’re around.
love this ! the color shift is so pretty !! ✨ is the glue squirt bottle from your shop ? the ones i use get stuck & its a pain too get it out
No this one isnt from my shop. It's from Amazon. I listed it in the description. These dont get stuck often because the hole is bigger.
Where did you find the cup and decal at
The cup is from Starbucks.
How many bags of each size would we need for this project? Like that same tumbler?
2 bags of 5mm 1 bag of 4mm
I think I'ma be badazzling anything 🤣🤣
Focus! Sheesh. I feel like a child.
