    If you get a load to FL and they send you to PA after, you’ll probably get a load to Cali. That’s what they normally do to me.

      That would’ve been a nice run. They had me repower and go to Alabama instead

    I like your videos the way they are. I like that you talk a lot. No dead air. I just got my CDL-A. Exploring my options. You have a great attitude; I would team drive with you.

    Hey bro, I'm from LA CA about to choose between System Transport , Melton or swift do you choose to drive a stick shift instead of automatic I know Swift & Melton gives 52cpm but not sure if they give you enough tarping but my most worry is home time If you can give me some Idea I would appreciate it. keep up the good work and be safe.

    • @ianelbert
      @ianelbert  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There’s not a ton of hometime at Melton, you technically earn one day for every week you’re out, but I think they’re kind of lenient with that rule. All the trucks there are automatic, unless you make it to a million miles with the company and they’ll order you a custom truck. Tarp pay was $100 when I was there and it’s probably still the same, and most loads are tarped so you’ll earn a lot of extra money on top of CPM

    • @ianelbert
      @ianelbert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah they did, it’s nothing complicated. Just listen to what they tell you to do, don’t go too fast, and stay aware of traffic.
