Fun fact about Sniper:
He's considered a freak to his fellow australians, because australians in this universe have huge muscles, grow mustaches and australia-shaped chest hair(even the women), and are generally not so smart.
Turns out Sniper is actually from New Zealand, which sank into the sea Atlantis-style, but his father sent him up to the surface as a baby in an escape pod(like Superman's origin story), where Sniper would be found and raised by an aussie couple.

The Medic's equipment is specifically programmed to NOT try to regenerate the Demoman's missing eye; his eye socket is cursed/possessed/haunted/I forget exactly what and bad things happen when an eye grows there. There apparently were female versions of most to all of the team in early development, but back when this was released there was very little out there to get test data from and this game introduced the cartoonish art style so many later copied specifically because it was clear that as much of the playerbase as possible would need to be able to identify somebody they saw as quickly as possible. So only one model per class, and at first the only customization options were hats. ...A LOT of hats.
Yes the demoman eye is cursed. In the comic demo ask the medic if he could regrow his eye. The medic says he can but it will transform into a monster on halloween. It was also not the first time demoman asked that question since it was done before and medic wiped his memory that he could.
@@marc789 Can't confirm, but I've been told it's specifically the eye socket that's the problem and the eyes turning into monsters are just a consequence of that.
I remember well! Demomans eye got cursed when he peaked with that eye only into Merasmus's Bombinomicon turning his eye into the Halloween boss Monoculous. Thus every Halloween and everytime he grows that eye back it turns into that monster. In order for demo to stop asking for his eye to grow back medic just ripped that part of his brain out and programmed the medigun to not grow it back.
@@DanaOtkencorrect. The socket is cursed by I believe the Bombinomicon, so every Halloween any eye in the socket is cursed to attack the team. After it happened too many times Medic removed the part of Demo's brain that would ask him. It's not an exact science though
Ribs can grow back in a special circumstance where the outer lining of the bone (periosteum) is still there. Not many people know this though.

You should also watch Expiration Date, which is another official TF2 animation, and it heavily features one of the 2 women characters in the game's lore.
20:30 True fact : Medic tried to heal Demoman's patched eye many times but the eye was cursed by the wizard Merasmus with the book of Bombinomicon after Red Soldier broke his staff (Red Soldier was Merasmus roommate) and became the monster Monoculus.
No demo man got the cursed after he did a house cleaning job for marasmus when he was a kid. As he was cleaning the bombinomicon tricked him into reading a page witch cursed the demomans eye.
Marasmus now uses the eye every halloween. Also one time the eye was a vampire eye.

- Soldier, Engineer and Scout are americains (Engi from Texas and Scout from Boston), Heavy is russian, Spy is french, Sniper is australian, Demoman is scotish and medic is german. Pyro has no identitiy, gender or nationnality, theories say he's/she's mexican based on his/her outfits ingame.
- Red spy dating Blu Scout's mom.
- Red team is for Reliable Excavation Demolition and Blu team is for Builders League United and the formers of Mann Co. are the brothers Redmond and Blutarch Mann. The third brother Gray tried to overtake Mann CO but failed, he created robots.

Oh yeah! They recently added a gamemode in TF2 with a big seal! And you win by feeding it lots of fish! It's very cute and bouncy!
Soldier is mixing Sun Zu, Noah and farming/zoos together…because he continues to drink the lead poisoned water from their bases ground water, instead of drinking the bottled water their contractors provide, so he went from stupid to worse as the game lore goes on.

Fact about the Demoman and why his eye didnt grow back in the meet the medic: Tavish (demoman's name) had to work for various kinds of people while he was young. One of them was a mage called Merasmus who told him to not take a look inside the bombinomicon while he was cleaning. Tavish did anyway and got his eye socket cursed. Every time Medic would've regrown his eye, it would turn into a flying monster eye called Monoculus on halloween and wreck havoc.

Here's a fun fact!
The only two women on tf2 are:
Miss Pauling, who essentially gives out missions to the mercs and cleans up any mess they leave behind while they do those missions (there is almost always a mess) And she works so hard she only gets one day off a year, revealed in Expiration Date, where Scout asked her out on a date because he thought he had three days to live.
And the Administrator, who basically kinda oversees everything, she was the voice you hear in the meet the spy video. Also, she's a double agent, as she bosses around both the blue and the red team. In the comics, she just sits in a big room with tons of cameras, and she switches voice channels to talk to both teams. Both Pauling and Admin are like the puppet masters of the whole game, and the only ones above them are Redmond and Blutarch Mann, two bitter old brothers who hired the red and blue team of mercs to kill each other and take over the badlands.

I've heard something similar; specifically, someone once told me that ribs can partially grow back if they're cut short enough. I couldn't remember if this was true or not, so I did a quick Google-search, and found this:
"Although all bones can repair themselves, ribs can regenerate themselves. Ribs are commonly removed during surgeries that require bone grafts in other parts of the body. The rib is removed from the periosteum (a tissue surrounding the bone), much like a banana would be removed from its peel while keeping most of the peel intact. The periosteum must remain, as it contains osteoblasts that build the new rib bone."
So, I guess as long as you make sure to leave enough of that "periosteum" stuff behind, ribs can indeed grow back... But the snapped rip the Heavy experienced likely took most of that stuff with it, so it won't be growing back (at least, not by natural means).

These are so good and man 11 years, its been that long since it was uploaded feel real old was watching these in Highschool.
Was playing back in grade 7 until mid highschool i believe.
Funnily enough, valve did consider having female TF2 mercenaries in game (there's concept art of em). Unfortunately, they decided against it as they were afraid of backlash. Which was an absolute mistake because fans love the idea and even created TF2 models of each class and make animations with em.
All of the characters are purposely created as stereotypes

18:00 while bones dont actually grow back if fully missing they do have the ability to grow back if a part is missing and different bones can re grow a different ammount. teeth for example can only re grow small parts but if its more then the crown or even less then that i think they wont but ribs have the unusual ability that given enough time even when a large ammount of them is missing eventually it will fully grow back.
so if they are missing entirelly they stay gone but if like half of it is gone over a few years they might fully grow back, however i dont know how much exactly they can actually re grow.
so bones growin is a thing but only in limited capacity and very slow so evenm if it happens you will still have a long time with lots of pain if your near the limit of how much they can re grow.

Tip for reaction videos: generally when you want to say something pause the video so that you nor the audience misses anything from the video
Just goes to show that good artstyle will last much better than good graphics. Give it a try, theres a bot problem but its got plenty of players and easy to pick up with tons of guides on TH-cam to help you get started if you feel stuck.
The game came out in 2007, and was in development for 9 years.
There's some more stuff to watch from TF2, like Expiration Date, Mercenary Park and Mann vs Machine. And fan made stuff like Emesis Blue, Lazy Purple's "How it feels to play _" series and End of the Line. There's also the official webcomic made by Valve that's completely bonkers. A favorite of mine is the TF2 PSAs by Krunkidile that are utterly surreal with great music in it, and great gameplay advice in the description.
I think Scout is actually part Spanish, since his father, the Spy, is also part Spanish.

Yes, yes we play the everliving shit out of this game. It is one of the only multiplayer shooters that i actually play and try to get better at. Every class just plays so uniquely and satisfyingly! Best Shooter period

This game doesnt have playable girls because they would get shot,burned alive, decapitated, etc and some people wouldnt like that, theres girls in the lore and as the announcer tho plus the concept art
