- Last Vlog of the year and the contributors are on fine form. We look at snow in Cornwall, Evesham Midland Railway Station and finish with a carol
Home to the adventurous subscriber. As well as films we have a bi-weekly Vlog to keep up to date on the previous and next week’s videos, and a chance for all to air their views on a variety of subjects, why not join in.
My passion has been walking, a while ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and walking does not come naturally any more, however the more I walk the easier it gets, for now anyway. I hope these videos will inspire others to keep going and hanging on in there. I try to cover variety of subjects, such as old abandoned railways, and canals. I love the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, with its rich history and I usually take my camera whenever we holiday in the southwest and Cornwall. The rugged coastal paths are a magnet for anyone who loves dramatic scenery. I live close to the Cotswolds Hills and have done quite a lot of walking around there, recently, following some of the lovely rivers. Hill walking on the Malvern’s is a challenge but worth the effort. I try not to let Parkinson’s get me down and take every opportunity to get out with my camera and film, I hope you enjoy watching. Hi Ron and Pauline. My nephew just sent me a photo of his newborn son, who first saw the light of the World early this morning. The poor kid is pictured curled up sans clothing, face down, bum up, asleep on a hospital scale. Fortunately, it reminded me that I need to go out and buy a turkey. Hi Ron. What a cleverly edited Christmas film that was. The timing of the music to the shots was incredible. You've got some hidden talents there. I would have been very proud of that. With Christmas day fast approaching, I want to wish you and Pauline much happiness over the holidays and a great 2024. May you continue to make those wonderful films for many years to come.

Film club this weekwas wonderful. The mixture of snow scenes from your area and Christmas decorations was superb. The music brought it all together.

I'd reverse all Beeching cuts where possible and stop the tannoy announcement on the train which says "see it, say it sorted" " ( where did they get that phrase from, the Krays?,) I'd also slap £1000 fines on those playing loud music, talking loudly about their appendix operation on the phone, eating mushy oranges, interminably sniffing, and putting their feet on the seats. Ah one can dream. Have a great day.

I have been looking forward to your Christmas edition of the channel you always do your best films for Christmas and this year is no exception. I watch your Christmas Eve video from two years ago many times throughout the year and never get tired of watching it with the brilliant music. As always matters arising brings up some wonderful comments. I'm in suspense now for the Christmas Day edition......
This week I finished my walks following along the royal irrigation channel (acequia gorda) my new years resolution is to bring some of this onto TH-cam.
This year we will be spending Christmas in Valencia with my wifes sister, we celebrate Christmas Eve down here so that is when we have our main celebration meal, in the evening. No turkey!! This year we will be eating a monster fish that my nephew fished out of the sea ..... I hope it fits in the oven!!
