The stock drive shaft and axles are a little harder to spin once you upgrade to because COMPLETELY Metal it wont be hard on the motor axles. I Upgraded and now my crawler even Coast is a little because NO BINDING at all
Just noticed you got the same shocks, got mine from Yeahrun. I wasn't all that happy with them. Even with the softest springs It had near to zero sag. I find it just sits to high. Looks good
@@nwirc I installed the 050 and when I spin drive shaft it’s more resistance to the motor then stock is what I mean like it’s more hard to spin the gears
the color trays came with the rc stands which don't work well at all.. The metal ones you see I bought from Harbor Freight. You can get them from ebay or amazon as well..
Awesome crawler, excellent work bro!)🥰🤩💯💥👍👏
Thank you..! Can't wait to test it out on the coarse.. I'll try and get that video before the weekend..
I'm interested in seeing your future videos!
Thank you.. I have lots of build video coming soon..
It's a rival of Mini-Z!I registered. I will continue to enjoy it in the future.
So far it's holding up great.. The run video publish this weekend.. I'll check your channel out when I get off work..

You're saying there is less binding with metal parts instead of plastic?
I love the wheels keep it up my friend☺️
Thank you.. I'm having a lot of fun with this build..
I really love this RC car I build mine fully I even have a winch on it
You installed a winch on a mini crawler..? I bet that cool.. Didn't know that made them that small..
Like this one. th-cam.com/users/shorts93hmudNhWSw?feature=share

Yes I agree 100%.. It does ride pretty high and hopefully tomorrow I can get it on the coarse to test it out..
i would cut a couple of mm of spring off so you still have lots of travel with sag/sits lower
@@CampingDad247 That's a great idea..
have you tried it out ? how torquey is it compared to stock ? Trying to figure out what motor to put in my new one
It's much better than stock. I have a video running it in my playlist.
Hi, with the battery tray leg touching the back of the motor, will it melt the leg on long run times?
I've gotten the motor hot and it didn't melt it. I believe the motor will lock up before melting that leg..
I want this thing!!!
This build turned out awesome.. I'll get a test run on it soon and see how it handles.
Hii how slow can it crawl, i really wonna knoe cause i kinda wonna get a new motor aswell
Honestly it's about the same at stock but with more torque and I'm sure this motor will outlast the stock one.
Do These 050 motors make the gear feel like there’s tension on the gears? But it runs good
I don't think so imo.. It kinda sounds that way with the mic im using. I'm working on better audio for the channel. Thanks

I see what you're saying.. I never tested that and now I wish would have. I'm sure I'll have other crawlers and we'll keep this all in mine. Thanks
Any updates on this
@@codyargo6410 Here's a link to the run test of the motor plus I used diff sets of wheels.

#1 The battery tray can be trimmed with a Dremel or replaced. #2 Why is this an upgrade?
Sorry brother I don't understand. I didn't dremel or replace. No need too but the motor upgrade is a must.
How is that Vanning looking? : )
Looking great..! The servo tray doesn't fit standard 1/8 scale servos so I'm thinking about taking a trip to my LHS and see what they have.
Is the new motor waterproof?
I don't believe so.. It didn't say it anywhere on the packaging.
all brush motors can go in water ... even look up how to break them in! you literally run them in water
What parts tray are you using?
