It took me 2 months to learn this & I officially got it. Everyday when I spin my lightsaber, I can feel like a true jediknight. Thank you for all your help.
you mean like a Jedi and Sith Lord right cause atm of Obi-Wan and Ani fighting Ani was then Darth Vader the dark Dark Lord Apprentice of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious
You are not wrong on the technique of achieving the Obi-Ani saber trick, I actually figured this one out as a kid when I paused Star Wars 2 and 3 fight scenes on DVD then press fast forward to skip slowly frame by frame and mastered it at like 8-9 years old other kids use to jaw drop everytime I did it before we would light saber battle with the old fold out flick swords or when I’m about to finish them off kicking their ass with a bad ass finisher using the Obi-Ani as my taunt before defeat haha 👌🏻💯🔥
The points of reference you use, like where the hilt should be in relation to your body and arm, are THE most useful pieces of information I've seen for a tutorial on this move. I might just learn it this year unless I dislocate my shoulder😂
Bro I looked this up and went to this lady with hundreds of thousands of views and she taught me nothing. I watched it five minute video and learned it in five minutes. I’m subbed and I luv uuu
Michelle Cole Smith (to whom I believe you’re referring) has better spinning skills than pretty much anyone on TH-cam, but sometimes knowing how to do something is different than knowing how to explain it. Her channel is awesome though-I often watch it just for inspiration 😊
I love that this man broke this down fast and quick unlike some people who go on a 2 minute rant about some bullshit you don't really care about cuz you just want them to get to the point of the video and then the other half is them trying to explain it to you while doing the thing that they're supposed to be as cleaning it to you and showing you how to do it at the same time but this man just did it perfectly literally props in well props him on the thing he was explaining very straight to the point
This is a fantastic tutorial that you're sharing with us. I've always been able to do the spins, but that one where you took underneath and put it towards your hip was always my challenge. But now, I can mail it. Thanks brother
Dude I’m constantly having this on repeat so I can get this technique down. I can’t always grasp it and I have watch and listen to the demonstration. I love this video as it really does break down the spin properly. I thank to god for finding this video!❤
As a kid with a lot of practice, the first move has always come natural, but that second maneuver is something I’m now practicing in my apartment at the age of 35.
Bro, i got my lightsaber 2 days ago, and i just learned the obi ani spin! (Not saying there's not A LOT of work on the smoothness of the movement, but anyway...) And thanks to you. Your tutorial is the best one ive seen so far, thank you
Ya know when I was a kid I didn’t have “instructional” videos on this shit. We literally just had our ridged hard plastic lightsabers and just swung around until we figured it out.
This was a better tutorial than the other person I watched. She was too fast and didn’t really explain and show the movements for me to understand. Thanks bro.
I wish I found this 2 years ago, but I learned on my own eventually. This tutorial would have made it so much easier. Very detailed, and in under a minute 👌
I'm actually learned that when i was around 6-7 years old when i saw my older sis spinning a baton like that. And it actually just took me several weeks (from what i can still remember) and it's incredibly easy.
Why did you teach me more in one minute than my teachers can do in one hour.
I used the force

He actually explains it in ~37 seconds, hats off to you sir. 🎩
Thanks my friend
I got 25
I've seen many tutorials to many different things for so many minutes, and this is the quickest and most to the point tutorial I've ever seen.
Thanks!
For real most of them are like 10 minutes wtf
It took me 2 months to learn this & I officially got it. Everyday when I spin my lightsaber, I can feel like a true jediknight. Thank you for all your help.
You’re welcome ☺️
Learned it’s within 2 days because of this channel
you mean like a Jedi and Sith Lord right cause atm of Obi-Wan and Ani fighting Ani was then Darth Vader the dark Dark Lord Apprentice of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious
It took you 2 months to learn this?
............🤦♂️
It took me 2 hours
“Obi Arnnni” 😅😅
Awneekin Skywalker
arnold skyzenegger
The amount of times I’ve watched this is unhealthy
And I still can't figure out the 2nd swing

Hats off to you, my good individual.
I learned I just by watching not pausing it or analyzing it just by watching it normally it surprised me when I first did it

A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Underrated channel, almost done it perfectly
Loving it! Looking like a Jedi Master my friend
Almost!
This was a good sword flourish as well for duels. Shadiversity explains it pretty good as well
A fine addition to my collection of tricks in my head
I had to rewatch the video a couple times but it took me only 30 mins to practise, great tutorial
i got this first try, thank you for making the details so clear
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks to you it took me 43 seconds to learn this
Sick
Man says Ani like Lando says Han
Yeh… little cringy but whatever

I love you for explaining this in one minute instead of 15. Practical, easy to follow, and straight to the point. I hope to learn more from you!
Dude i actually finally learned how to do this thanks!
I couldn’t have found a more perfect video to what i was searching for lol
I watched your full video and now I do the Obi ani every day thanks man For teaching me my first lightsaber move😊
Your technical instructions are very helpful!
That one motion is better than all the new movies.
This is one of the best videos about Obi-Ani 😊 thank you!
So far: instructions unclear, hit myself on the chin.
This one is so much better than all the other stupidly long and over complicated ones! Thanks bro

I learned it with your Video thank you 👍🏽
Glad it was helpful!
Best tutorial ever
Also called a "Flourish"

where did you get that saber
Thank you Master Jedi, I have been watching all your videos and subscribed, You are a very good teacher. May the force be with you!
No joke, I learnt this in 1 minute, although always room for improvement. Thank you so much!
As a kid with a lot of practice, the first move has always come natural, but that second maneuver is something I’m now practicing in my apartment at the age of 35.
Your explanation is simple and to the point!👏🏼🙌🏼
Omg the way you described it was so much simpler than the 20 minute videos I’ve seen 😭 thank you sir
JAKE!!!! I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
love you too, sam my man XD
Thank you! It was truly helpful!!!
I learnt this is just 3 weeks thank for you help now I feel like a jedi
Thanks, you really made it easier to understand than other similar types of videos, looks very cool 😎
thank you!
You speak with confidence, that trait will bring you much success.. and power
"The test wont be hard"

The slickest lightsaber handling in the entire series

This is the type of tutorial I've been looking for.
Ya know when I was a kid I didn’t have “instructional” videos on this shit. We literally just had our ridged hard plastic lightsabers and just swung around until we figured it out.
Bro, he teach me something more useful and faster than what the teachers at school.
Awesome! Now teach us the reverse motion and also the special point about not pushing/pulling the blade on the follow-through.
Plz&TY...
This was a better tutorial than the other person I watched. She was too fast and didn’t really explain and show the movements for me to understand. Thanks bro.
awesome! I was looking for a tutorial.
Learned how to do this thanks to you 👍
Best way I've seen it taught yet.
I'm just starting to be good at the basics, when I watch this tutorial I can swing the lightsaber better 👍
"I'll try spinning! That's a good trick!"
Still need to get it a lil' better but I'm happy thanks!
Love your vids
This was the fasted tutorial I've learned from in my life.
I stil struggle with the hip step but i'll get there, thank you, my master
Merci mon gars c'est absolument ce qu'il me fallait depuis des années pour faire des figures stylées avec un sabre
TU ES UN AS !! 👍
i use this spin abidextriously and i always make sure to help teach others it too
I fucking can't my body is actually incapable of doing it.
Great demo 🔥
Dude …. THANK YOu! I could not figure this out on my own for real.
Really helpful thanks man. I'll drop a sub
Bro that is so cool
I wish I found this 2 years ago, but I learned on my own eventually. This tutorial would have made it so much easier. Very detailed, and in under a minute 👌
Thanks! Learned within 5 minutes
I followed your instructions and I can do it know and I feel like obi wan kenobi
The fact that I was already able to do it before watching this video impressed myself.
It’s easy to learn the first part but the second part is harder
bro could create a jedi order
Came here to learn the spin but I ended up in courts for the younglings i beheaded
Bro looks like a Jedi master
The fact Hayden just happened to come up with this move for the kicks and now it's an official "Jedi Fighting Form"...
It’s actually from staff spinning tho-it’s called a high low whip
This is fire 🔥🔥🔥
much appreciated
I learned this move when I watched Ewan himself do it on Graham Norton's show.
It was really awesome!
Bro imagine doing this in blade and sorcery vr fighting jedi all while pulling off stunts like these
thats basically a standard sword flourish but with a hip twist
I like how it says 1 minute but yet took me about 2.5 years
the part where I have to buy a "good" lightsaber is what scares me
I see you have learnt something from me, most impressive.
That's awesome!
Have fun with the darksaber!
I thought he was going to say “Jake from Statefarm.”
i learned this in the first day without knowing it was an actual trick lol
Nice
Practicing with my machete at 4 am
Great. All I need now is lightsaber.
Very helpfull video! I learned the spin from you too ;)
Next one would be this one.
Very helpful ❤
Man teaches better in less than 1 minute than teachers can do in a year
Cool tutorials, one problem, im short
Thx for the tutorial
Amazing!
Me:watches this
Also me:searchs for my lightsaber
There you have it, both legs sliced off by a lightsaber in one glorious swoop. 😅
I'm actually learned that when i was around 6-7 years old when i saw my older sis spinning a baton like that. And it actually just took me several weeks (from what i can still remember) and it's incredibly easy.
I learned obi ani in 2 minutes THX
