Here's a quick guide to insertion and removal of contact lenses! It's easier than you might think. Always remember, contact lenses are safe and can never go behind or get lost in your eyes.
Few tips for beginners- the main aim is to keep your eyes wide open, make sure lens don't get touched to lashes, they won't allow it to set properly. Use whichever hand is stronger to hold your eyes open ( i use my dominant hand as it has more grip/strength). Apply some powder over your eyelids to prevent your hand from slipping ( do wash hands before touching lens though). Make sure you practice holding your eye open in mirror first without lens, it should not be able to blink when you are holding it. The lens has little cooling effect so don't worry it would feel nice when it would touch your eye. Place the lens anywhere in your eye, close your eye and do clockwise or anti clock movement it would set on its own ( advanced technology). And no matter how many videos you watch, you would have to take that leap of faith yourself, so be brave take a deep breath,relax, have courage, you can totally do this. Trust me i was hell scared to try it at first but if I can do it so can you!
@@sartaaj613 place lens on your finger....if the edges seem to go towards left and right(horizontal)... it's wrong side...then compare with the other side they should be somewhat towards vertical line..
@@RajendraKumar-pv8nw after few mins of struggle i can put them in both eyes but for me the hardest part is removing them🙂.. till now doctor removed them for me five times 🤣 i don't wanna annoy him anymore please give me some tips.. whenever i try to bring my fingers towards the lens the eye blinks no matter how hard i hold it and at the end it results in red eye and have to go to the doctor 😭
@@NightMare-hi7vu actually i also saw a video on yt for this...there are only three methods to do this...first two involve pinching the lens which obviously is too uncomfortable for people like us. I prefer the third one...in that you open your eyelids firmly like you do while placing them, and then put your index finger of free hand lightly over it and just drag it all the way down.....it will just come out without much difficulty...
Or to remove you can slide the lens to the outer corner of your eyes and then pinch it out. Tip, to put them on use the other hand to widen your eyes and then place the lens directly onto your eyeball, it'll automatically place itself.

Now it depends if both of your eyes have the same power, if so, you can use them for 3 months as 1 pair will be used at a time for a month. The same goes with different powers as well. You get to put in the powers of each of your eyes while purchasing the lenses and after you get them, it will be written on each lens that what side it is for. So basically, 6 lenses, 3 for each eye.

No the solution doesn't dries up until it's opened. You can use whenever you want. I too wear the daily disposables just on special occasions.
