    We keep hearing about this foster teens camp. You should do a video all about them and what they do and include a link!

    They both did great. Very good safety as well. Strictly from a training standpoint, you're not always gonna have time to kick the rocks/shells from under your feet and have the perfect stance. Be sure to slow down and look behind you and to both sides rather than shaking your head. Again great video! 👍

    Just to clarify; CLEET is the state of Oklahoma organization that certifies LEO, private investigator (armed & unarmed), and security guards (armed & unarmed).
    The LEO training is 16 to 18 weeks, depending on municipality. CLEET has their own facility, but some of the bigger cities hold their own academies.
    The armed PI and armed security guard classes three or four days, with the "final" being the course of fire in this video. This instructor mentioned that they teach a longer course that includes long gun.

    The Oklahoma standard.

    I did the TDSA Adv. Combat Pistol 1 and 2 courses in Tulsa. Got my CLEET certification that way (even though I was never, and will never be a LEO in Oklahoma).
    I highly recommend going through a course at TDSA (The Defensive Shooting Academy of Tulsa) with Marshall Luton.

    I failed Tess a little bit. She had a ported gun and it's best not to shoot them from retention. Otherwise, that was great fun with great folks.

      I didn't have a ported gun, just a plain old Glock 48 MOS :) I had a ton of fun, but shooting from retention wasn't my favorite part haha

    Did he say the academy was 110 hours long? Is that supposed to be the whole academy or justbthe shooting portion?

    • @Crazybutter722
      @Crazybutter722 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just shooting. Academy is roughly 22 weeks

    The real test of being law enforcement material: report writing.

    72% passing is a very low bar, should be 95% to pass.

    • @finngamesknudson1457
      @finngamesknudson1457 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They want LEO to be able to pass. While I agree LEO should be better, fact is they are not. Most practice far too little after becoming certified, so ongoing qualification testing should be increased rather than tightening up initial skills.

    They did a good job but those are not CLEET targets.

      What’s the difference and how does it impact difficulty or scoring.

    • @ixlzz
      @ixlzz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@finngamesknudson1457 , there are very great differences between some of the targets used by different law enforcement agencies, both in actual size and in scoring areas. For instance, if one were to shoot the Oklahoma course-of-fire while using a New York City P.D. target, a blind person could ace the qual.
      Check out some of the suppliers of L.E. targets and you can get a feel for some of the various styles and sizes. This will not tell you how many rounds are expended and at what distances, however.
