I had my screen protector replaced by Samsung 6 months ago and it is cracking again. I might peel it off. I dont want the actual screen damaged. And I DO want to trade this in when contract is done! Never getting foldable again. Going back to bar style phone. Just hope Verizon will take it for trade in without screen protector.
They shouldn't give you any problems at all since the screen protector isn't necessary for the operation of the device. I traded in my fold for the Samsung without a screen protector and had no issues. The carriers are always different but if they give you trouble you just have to put them in their place.
my screen protector is bubbling in the middle and my screen protector is peeling off. I'm just waiting for my screen protector to arrive until i can remove and replace it
I am very tempted to remove the screen protector of my flip 4 but I am worried about long term or if the phone can still operate with it off. How is the phone now?
It's been in perfect working order. There hasn't been anything significant that has changed in terms of operation at all. If you want to remove the screen protector, I'd say it's pretty safe, but I would also only do so only if it's coming off already.
I have since traded it in but before that it was completely fine with no issues at all. The screen protectors coming off doesn't seem to be an issue so long as you're gentle taking it off
You can find a tool like this in a PC/Smartphone tool kit. I would only recommend taking the protector off if it is already peeling. I also can't tell you if you can leave it off, but if it were me, I definitely would.

Screen looks gorgeous without the protector
Great instructions - did exactly the same and works great. dont think i will get another screen protector wouldn't know why i would.
It's just too much of a hassle to deal with the screen protector issue. Especially since Samsung can refine and fix it but hasn't.
Hi! How is your fold 4 now? I believe it's been 5 months now since you peel the screen protector of your fold 4.

@@WIHRCso they took trade in without screen protector? I have verizon and hoping they will take it without screen protector
Where do I get the tool to take the built in screen off? And can I leave it off? I have flip 5.
