First shot: Digest
The aquascaper, Takashi Amano makes the world’s largest 40m Nature Aquarium!
This news stunned aquarists all over the world. The ADA crew closely covered this layout making implemented at Oceanário de Lisboa in Portugal from the end of January to the beginning of February, 2015.
For the first shot, here is the digest of the unprecedented challenge how the layout was made under the Amano’s instruction.

Firewolf62 are you kidding me?? Of cus it is way too small for a betta. Betta need a minimum of 800 million gallon of water to thrive! Anything less than that is a big NO! Btw Where is the heater and the filtration system??

every years i go there with my family, it's amazing
I recently went to lisboa oceanario with my sister, i watched this video along time ago and forgot this was in lisboa, when i entered the room unknowingly i remembered something like nostalgia feeling, as soon as i saw mr Takashis pictures and the first glance of the aquarium my eyes teared, you have no idea how big this is for me, coming from a poor family and a poor country and seeing something like this is an achievement of the lifetime, thank you takashi amano you inspire us nature lovers

When takashi was designing this his cancer was spreading and he didn't have long to live, but it's still sad to think about all the great things he's accomplished, a lot of people probably didn't know that he went on great expeditions all over the world to film nature. RIP Takashi

This is insane! I’ve always wondered why every aquarium has massive salt water tanks and little to none massive planted tanks. This should be more common
It´s sad that the theme is the same at every spot. Using slightly different themes wich smoothly go over into each other would have been so much more interessting to look at.

These tank are made for small fish those dont eat plants and the folk who are built these big tank are putting big money's to have it built

I wanted to do this with Shipping containers!! Complete circle tanks.. So the fish etc, can swim in a circle to not have to stop and turn around because they are blocked into a corner!
But I am not Rich enough to do it!! Smart enough, just not rich enough! Even thought I am the only person on the plant that knows how to make fish etc, etc, etc..
To make them all to grow five'' to six'' a month!! Like no other~ I know what is needed to get them to breed!! I hope you guys are putting Rain water in your tanks!` A must have if you want new fry~

So how is it that I plant 10 plants and 8 of them end up floating to the surface but this guy plants a freaking forest and they all stay exactly where they were originally put.
I just wish we could have seen the finished product with fish swimming in it.

Vicky B because you don't have enough substrate for the roots to hold on to and/or you're planting it too shallow.
Another cause might be that you've directed too much flow over them.
