Great lesson on playing BB King style he proved you don't have to shred to sound good.

I can't tell you enough how insightful the note (count) breakdown you run through at 3:00 is! Cheers so much Marc!
As a beginner Blues player myself, nice to know the '4 note solo' house pattern I have become very familiar and comfortable with is so heavily used :-)

@@MarcGuitarVideos All the thanks go to you Marc. I appreciate the time and the efforts you put in these lessons. It is not an easy thing to do, to catch the needs and difficulties of the students and to present them with such a high quality material. And apart of this your solo is really good stuff and perfectly playable by the beginners like myself which is an important thing to keep in mind. All the best for your channel, great job!

Very informative video Marc, thanks! You got to love BB King and what he did for music.
That 335 is gorgeous Marc, great find. I just had my new ES-335 59 reissue delivered Saturday. Great timing to learn a little BB King on it.
    Thanks for everything you do.

Dynamics are really important very nice guitar, I am using a Vintage 100 with PAF Alinco 5 Wilkinson Humbuckers they do the trick, my amp well my practice amp is a BOSS Katana Mini on the crunch option with the gain turned down a wee bit just enough , middle position on my Les Paul type guitar, it works with a bit of delay and reverb just right, great lesson Marc, now I am part of your Patron Group well worth it the instruction is brilliant, love the tabs now within the video, thanks for a great lesson,

@@MarcGuitarVideos I did not like the blueberry burst, it just looks too modern on a 335, but yours could be vintage, it's classy.

I was working my way through your previous BB vid (dated July 17th 2021) when this one popped up. The analysis of the BB solo is genius Marc. This is something that I've never seen before from anyone. I'll look into sending you a few $ for your efforts. I'll send for the tab too even though tabbing it out myself using the genius Vidami hands-free looper pedal is nice and easy. Thanks Marc. You da man.

@@MarcGuitarVideos - The Vidami works perfectly Marc. For anyone wanting to dissect someone's licks off TH-cam, it's the bomb.
