It has its limitations, but I knew that before I got it. Very sturdy tent, and Ben Cleuch never ceases to throw a surprise into the mix 👍 Thank you for the kind comments 👍
Ach, just the porch is small but it holds my boots and gear, that’s all I need, I wouldn’t want to attempt to cook in it. Other than that it’s a really great shelter, and I really do love it 👍
Aaah that's my old stomping ground. Thanks for posting. It's great to have access to these hills on your doorstep. They are so often overlooked. If you're wanting to work on fitness have you considered attempting 'The Round of 9'? Travel west to east and have a wee overnight on Tarmangie (IMHO the best viewpoint on the range). then a pint when you finish at the Tormaukin Hotel.
I have done round of ten , west to east , and east to west, I was up on Sunday and did a smaller circuit, I always find Blairdennon and Greenforet are out on their own, if that makes sense, I was at Tarmangie yesterday, very quiet up there, fantastic views, Andrew Gannel Hill is another underrated one that I enjoy. A pint at the Tormaukin does sound tempting though, cheers for the kind comments 🍻
Thank you Nik, just so nice to escape up there sometimes, as you well know. Enjoy your adventures, hopefully not be too long before you’re back out there again ❤️
My most favourite escape 😁 thankyou recovering injuries so not been able to get out very inspirational on the video and im glad to hear im not the only one who avoids long grass n quite a few snakes in amongst the ferns just now thankyou looking forward to getting back out ❤
Sean, another good video, thanks. I did find it difficult to hear your speech over the music, so please turn the volume down, or better still avoid it altogether. The wind noise is preferable and truly part of the environment. Glad it’s helping with your anxiety. ATB, Gary
Thank you Gary, I “re-edited” music in one of the videos for the same reason. Something I really want to improve. I appreciate the feedback, and the kind words. ATB👍
Nice wee video of a wild camp in the Ochils. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed watching! 👌
Thank you for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Fab video Sean really enjoyed watching that.
Thank you Barbara, can’t beat a night on the hills… 👍
Excellent Sean, the Niak really does look the business. Glad you made the effort to get out and up there.

SN, limitations ? Dare I ask what you’re referring to ? I have zero experience with the Niak.
