@@thisoldhooptie yea our kids are opposite. Daughter is 13 son just turned 8. Seems ur little girl is more into cars. My daughter for sure is the one into cars. My son is into sports. Not my thing lol
@@fishpony1211 Exactly how things are over here. My son likes driving in them, doesn't want to work on them or be on camera. He is also very good in school and sports so no complaints. @24fieldboss she loves it. So does our youngest. It's very easy to get in with the steps. Also, they can easily see which suv is ours by finding the one with the grill. She actually chose this grill, so I was very happy to make it happen. 👍
Congratulations on changing the grille. I am a newbie in any car modification so wanted your help/advice on Hyundai Palisade 2022 model modification. Some of us are wondering how to change the 2nd row to a bench seat. I think if we remove the seat behind the driver and replace with a oem/salvage bench seat it will do. Do you think it is possible ? if so do you know how to remove a captain chair ( i see some cables). If possible can you make a vedio how to remove one chair from the second row ? Searched the whole youtube yet to get any good tutorial/help/demo on this topic.
I actually purchased this specifically for the captains chairs. My kids were constantly fighting over space and the bench would not work for us. As for your question ussually car makers have one base frame then adjust things like plastics, carpet, seats. The best way would probly be to get a full bench from a reseller or ebay then add on what ever is needed. The bolt holes are probly there already. The captians chair do not bolt up the same as the bench due to sliding and the auto slide button which is the cable your referring to. The way I would look into this is go to a place like carmax or a hyundai dealer and look at the bench mounts for the frame then the captains chairs and take a bunch of pictures. Then find what ever you need used check ebay. That's how I am doing the auto rear hatch opener with the buttons, actuators, and wire harness. Good luck with the project. 👍
@@thisoldhooptie thanks for the info, i have already looked into this and from the parts drawing it seems they have same 4 bolts. I will investigate this further.
hi where did you get that grill? that looks better than the original. Thank you 😁. The link for that grill is in the video description. And you can count on the coding. Within the next year python basics are for sure, already have the books purchased👍. I did the same with my son.
Thank you 👍 The link for any parts used is in the description of my videos. The grill really cleaned up the front end of this suv. I'm very happy with it 😁
@@thisoldhooptie Thank you for getting back to me!!! The Amazon link to the grill is "broken". Do you know the manufacturer or any other place that might sell it?? Thank you in advance!
It's the mmg or momoreal 2021 to 2022 palisade grill. I don't believe it fits the calligraphy models. There is a separate model for the calligraphy on ebay. Good luck 👍
I wouldn't surprise me if one day that was the case. But no swapping bulbs should not void the warranty its a user serviceable part. It has never voided mine. I had a Hyundai Sonata from 2012 to 2022. I swapped the bulbs and had the car in for all services without any issues.
There are probly 2 ways to get to that piece. Pretty sure you could un bolt and remove the plastic protector under the whole front end which I think is more work and working upside down. Or pull the front clip like I did. Its really not hard to get the clip off. Some bolts and plastic clips and it pops off then snaps back on.
My model doesn't have the front grill camera. The grill is for se and sel only in the listing. However I noticed one guy in the reviews mounted it to a limited and added a screw to mount the camera, here is the link www.amazon.com/MOMOREAL-Radiator-Hyundai-Palisade-Product/dp/B07ZF2YKZF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=Momoreal%2Bgrill%2Bpalisade&qid=1664787860&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjE3IiwicXNhIjoiMS41OSIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-1-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.c3015c4a-46bb-44b9-81a4-dc28e6d374b3&psc=1&th=1#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div
Hey I wanted to get this exact same grille I saw it on eBay for 900 tho and my only problem is that it don’t come in black . Also did you ever get a chance to put on the sidesteps because I wanna do the same thing as well and throw 24s on em and lower it a little bit
Have a look at the link in my description. That should take you to the one I purchased, It was around $500 shipped. I will be Installing the steps in the next couple weeks. Ill do a how to when I put them on.
@@supernovabeyblade2449 appreciate it 👍 ill be spraying one of my truck beds black then im on the steps for this truck. I have some interior floor lighting which I will probly throw in the same video.
I thinks it’s a pretty cool mod. It reminds me of the Maybach grill. I think the outline of the existing grill is the worst aspect. So, not a perfect solution, but an improvement nonetheless.
I fully agree. In my opinion most of these type of cars and suvs like kia / hyundia already snagged looks from the euro family of cars. They have some of the interior finishes too. For the price you get a decent machine. Before this we had a 2012 sonata 2t it was great until rats got into the engine bay. Not a single issue in 9 years, then electrical nightmares weekly. It ended up effecting the ecu which was not worth fixing.
@@thisoldhooptie My 2013 Genesis is also having some weird electrical stuff, like lights, windows, HVAC fans randomly not working. Planned obsolescence at its finest.
@@Jimmy-ph8xn Definatly. Thats one of the things I love about my old pickups. They are pretty easy to trouble shoot with cheap parts available at the corner store.
I agree, in my opinion the front end is alittle better then the previous model. That being said the 2023 model didn't exist when I purchased this one. To be fair I do really enjoy driving it. In sport mode it rips around pretty well. Lots of space for the kids and family. Also it gets pretty good milage when in eco mode and not mashing the peddle.
They grow up quick. Enjoy it! My little girl turned 13 the day before yesterday and still helps me with all my car/truck projects.
So true, my older one is 16 this month. Good times 😁
