The thing I've always found fascinating about X and, particularly, Zero, is that these two robots were made centuries ago and still compete (often, easily) with "hyper-advanced" futuristic bots. Unlike X, Zero doesn't REALLY evolve. X is variable, can grow infinitely, but Zero's improvements were done by Wily or some version of him. Once Wily is gone, that's it. Zero stagnates. And has stagnated for centuries. And yet despite never really being upgraded, still stands head and shoulders over every enemy he faces even hundreds of years of evolution into the future. And seeing videos like this really puts that into perspective how insane that is, that such an old robot is so well-designed that it can remain a freaking blender compared to all future robots so far after its time.

The plastic chair is unfitting for the unmotivated.
zero rotating in the corner at 1:31 made me laugh
Holy shit, I've never seen someone THIS good at these games. You just styled on them like they were nothing!
This is oh so satisfying to watch
'The details of my death were....greatly exaggerated'
Magnus you're hired #ceilpayzero
Hope your head isn't squished from hitting the skill ceiling. Lovely compilation there, had me laughing and amazed by the gameplay.
I've been playing this game wrong my entire life
I clicked on this expecting another whiny review about old games being stale. (albeit a short one) What a pleasant surprise. Nice work btw 👌
The most disrespect here is showing me how good the triple rod can be.
Finally, the combo video I have always wanted to see!!

3:50 behold. _dash dance to victory_
Return of the King
Zero always wanted to be a Professional Pogo-ist.
Disrepect is an understatement; more like you invalidated their entire existence
The utter swag of the Anubis Necro fight pogoing off him, his stick AND his zombies. Really pushing Zero 1’s wack ass i frames with fights like Ganesh (idfk his full name don’t judge me). Even stuff like steering in the air so that all the hits of Triple Rod charge attack connect properly on the Little Mermaid.
