Meet Cpl. George Henrie - A Dedicated RCMP Member in Iqaluit, Nunavut

This Nunavut Day, we’d like to introduce you to Cpl. George Henrie, an Inuk RCMP Member working in Iqaluit, Nunavut as a recruiting officer, field coach for other Members in the region, and coordinator for federal serious crime events. George has had a long and extensive career with the RCMP and notably worked on several prime ministers’ protective details, which enabled him to travel across Canada and the world to meet and learn from people from a variety of different backgrounds.
Born and raised in Nunavut, George takes pride in connecting with local Inuit communities and highlights how shared backgrounds and history help foster trust and lasting bonds in his work as an RCMP Member.
