Wood turning can be a dangerous hobby. My videos show my methods of turning and if you do not feel comfortable with my methods please do not copy them but rather use a method you feel comfortable using. Irish woodturning is a craft that is dying out and should be preserved so that the tradition of Wood turning in Ireland stays alive and well.

Shay I’m really enjoying this beginner’s series of videos, simple yet practical projects that I would not have thought of. Now I know what to do with the Mayday, Apple and Mountain Ash branches I was given a couple years ago. Some of them are 2 ½” to 4” perfect for these projects! Not a problem at all Stuart, the dimensions I gave are for a classic French rolling pin, but you can really make them any size you want.

Thanks Alan, yes theydo sell but not as often as you might think. I always have one on the stall but don't make another until it sells.
