I don't even know where to begin with this episode. Fave is either the peek at the Bruce Timm animated short, or looking at Ralph's collection. As a Batman fan since since childhood, this episode was pure candy.
Honestly I'm a little disappointed with this short. Batman has existed for 75 Years. From Bob Kane to Adam West to Dennis O'neil to Alan More to Frank Miller to Tim Burton to Christoper Nolan to Scott Snyder and dozens of other creators. And this is all Batman gets. Come on Batman deserves better then this.
Btw Ralph isn't loaded devotion to a character will get you anything you want. Found out more about Ralph he's a big fan not a guy with money to buy what he wants...
@DCComics the batclaw/grappling hook, batarang, and batman's fists are among batman's most iconic, lethal, and most useful gadgets in batman's arsenal! #DCAllAccess
That was an epic Batman '66 collection. Just goes to show there are so many facets of Batman that an entire room could be devoted to a small (but important) part of his history. Would love to see collections devoted to the Burton films and the animated series! I'm sure there out there!
So, here's an idea for a new Batman tv animated show. Get the original animators of the Batman TAS to come back & make Bats look a little more hardcore like in Arkham Knight then have him get stuck in Earth-2 accidentally in the first ep and the whole show is Bats trying to help fight the syndicate and then eventually get home.
oh Superman, batman, I really hope they get to do a Wonder Woman anniversary vid! Trinity! First female super hero (correct me if you wish) from the creator and inventor of the lie detector machine!
There are quite a few female heroes who predate Wonder Woman, some of them you could reasonably say fit the superhero mould - like Miss Fury or Phantom Lady. Some of them have some of the key motifs of a superhero but would be more questionable, like Invisible Scarlet O'Neil or Fantomah. A personal favourite of mine is the first Black Widow, she has plenty of super powers but she is somewhat more akin to the Spectre. Except she serves Satan and not God and thus whether she is truly a superhero is questionable even though she does punish evildoers.
I beg to differ. Much of what makes up the Batman mythos was actually created by Bill Finger. Whether he did a little or a lot, he deserves credit alongside Kane.
SpiderFan241 Yeah. He created Joker and some other villans, if i remember. But Bob Kane was the writer, he made the stories. Still, it will be nice to see "Based on Batman, created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger" at the end of some future Batman movie...
Aquin Bob Kane's original idea for Batman was a man in a domino mask (with visible eyes), red suit, and a Da Vinci Glider that he called Birdman. Bill Finger suggested the changes, to the costume that are now Batman today. Finger wrote the earliest issues of Batman including the first Batman story "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate" that was published in Detective Comics #27. He also conceived and wrote the stories that introduced among other things Robin, Catwoman, the Joker, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, the Scarecrow, Two Face, the Riddler, the Penguin, the Batmobile, the Batcave, and Gotham City, as well as Batman's origin story. Bob Kane served as the artist but as early as Batman's first year, he began handing off his assignments to ghost artists such as Sheldon Moldoff and Jerry Robinson (co-creator of The Joker and Robin) who he never credited. After a few years, he quit Batman altogether but continued to receive credit for the art and rake in royalties. Bill Finger stayed and raised Batman through his first decades. He continued to write for the company that is today DC Comics until his death in 1974. Kane's father was a wealthy lawyer who made a deal with the company that is now DC Comics to give him sole creator credit, and royalties. Bill Finger's father was a poor Austrian-Jewish immigrant who raised him in the Bronx, and Finger was frequently described as an obsessive nervous man who never stood up for himself. Today's practices usually put the writer before the visual artist when it comes to creator credit bylines. Previously only the writer was credited, as it was for many years that Stan Lee received sole credit for the creation of many of Marvel's pantheon of characters. So no, Kane didn't do most of the work.
I don't even know where to begin with this episode. Fave is either the peek at the Bruce Timm animated short, or looking at Ralph's collection. As a Batman fan since since childhood, this episode was pure candy.
I Bet The Upcoming Batman Caped Crusader TV Show Is Gonna Have Same Animation As This Short
It's definitely this and I love it!
It's Batman caped crusader 😂🔥

Batman's Grapnel gun, without that its hard to even imagine how batman moves around quickly.

To Bill Finger. Co creator of the now famous "Batman" character.
Not forgotten.

Bat-Shark Repellent. Definitely the most useful tool in his 75 year of gadgets.
Is This Short Gonna Be Set In The Same Universe As The Upcoming Batman Caped Crusader Show?
Yeah thanks for all this partying people...
"The very earliest version of Batman that Bob Kane did." Come on guys, 75 years. Bill Finger should have the credit he deserves.
Very cool to see Ralph Garman's collection. He and Kevin Smith are always talking about it on Hollywood Babble-on.
I really wish they would release that series on DVD, the Adam West Batman tv series!!
Awesome Bat memorabilia !!
Btw Ralph isn't loaded devotion to a character will get you anything you want. Found out more about Ralph he's a big fan not a guy with money to buy what he wants...
cool arkham asylum poster reminds me of my first platinum trophy
He should buy my Batman painting to add to his collection lol

There should be a dual animated short at some point with Batman and Superman. World's Finest Animated Short would be sick.
Nice video, the grappling hook is key,my favorite batman must have.
Took me a minute to get the "no clowns" joke. Nice one. Very clever.

batman's greatest gadget has to be shark repellent no question.
Fun Fact: The voice of Hugo strange is voice by actor that play Babu Bhatt for any Seinfeld fans out there.
Bruce Timm!!!! Yeah!!!!!
Where do you gets those cool SHIRTS from ? They are not on DC's website. Please share the source.
Aw... Poor Joker... He's not even invited to "entertain" the guests...
Brother!!!!
Dropped my jaw when I saw the collection, but then I remembered money will get you anything.
Bruce Timm's DCAU
I thought they were going to show the full animated short
And not even a single credit to Bill Finger
Batman voiced by Kevin Conroy is one of the best
Is the music in the background written by Marty O' Donnel? It sounds like Halo a lot.
The only 60's Batman i got is the DVD movie and today's comic Batman '66
That's all of the classic Batman i have got
You forgot about Bill Finger.
make this into a tv series that be cool
my favorite batman gadget is the grapple hook and batman's utility belt
oh Superman, batman, I really hope they get to do a Wonder Woman anniversary vid! Trinity! First female super hero (correct me if you wish) from the creator and inventor of the lie detector machine!

Was kinda hoping for a montage similar to what happened with Superman, but this is ok.
could u tell me where you bought swag batman t-shirt?
WHERE THE DA THE DID HE GET THAT BATMAN SHIRT!
TDIReloaded Agreed. He's mixing a dangerously shunned word with something that has no correlation to the epicness of Batman.
bruce timm is the man
Beautiful storyboard illustrations. Can we get a print version? No? :(
I like how he looks like the justice league/justice league unlimited batman
Rip kevin conroy
"Captain? No no no, that's silly. I'm like the coach.
Actually, not even that. I'm more like the G.M.
Owner...I'm the owner."
So is Mr. Grayson going to get this massive a roll out? I doubt it, but I would love it.
In Bruce we believe!
I wish Warner would release a b/w mini series to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Batman.
His brain his intelligence his family
I want to see Batman Inc.
Let's get some spotlight on Batwing.
I need all that collection :(
can i get more info about this batman strange days.... will this a movie, or tv show... when does it came out?
How about celebrating Batman's 75th by giving credit to it's true creator, Bill Finger.
He co- created Batman along with Bob Kane. But Kane did most of the work.
I beg to differ. Much of what makes up the Batman mythos was actually created by Bill Finger. Whether he did a little or a lot, he deserves credit alongside Kane.

Uh, does anyone know where I can get that #swag Batman t-shirt?
Batman ! Batman you say !
The bat wing
happy birthday to the ONLY character that DC/WB knows how to market
I question that logic considering how poorly Beware the Batman went
Garmy Strong!
I'm seriously hating on that man!!!!!! his collection is impressive!!!!!! ;///////;
I hope Cassandra Cain shows up
When will Batman: Strange Days going to be released?
April 9th.
No shark repellant ?
didn't detective comics #29 come in may of 1939? meaning the 75th anniversary is next month
It's not Batman's Birthday yet. His Birthday is in May.
Actually the first Batman comic came out March 30th the May date was more like an expiration date.
Joshua Redburn Yeah but the May date is considered as the official Batman Birthday!
Touche'
Joshua Redburn haha xD
^^
not bad let's go
Hugo Strange actually came before the Joker in the comics. How about that.
Hugo was also originally intended to be Batman's arch nemesis so having him get the spotlight is nice.
Ralph :)
Batman.Batman.Batman. Overrated but face it, how the hell can someone hate ol' batsy? He is just...Batman :P
How about also celebrating by releasing the remaining episodes of Beware the Batman, while we're at it?
I'm BATMAN!
The Cutter no am batman
I'll tell you what Batman's best gadget is. His Mind.
That doesn't look like Bob Kane's Batman. That looks like Bill Finger's Batman.
Batman's mind or brain so he can use all of his gadgets
Damn right we don't need no clowns
I'm seeing some SERIOUS New Batman Adventures design in the upcoming short...I guess I shouldn't expect any less from Bruce Timm, though...
This was no where near as cool as the Superman 75th Anniversary short.
hardcore collectors are 2 hardcore.
