    I agree, that's why I'm nocturnal now.
I stopped adressing it and now I get 8 hoirs of sleep every day, I just so happen to be waking up at 1 pm.

Coach Daniel pls help me. I’m desperate. After coming across your channel, I haven’t been doing anything to prevent my chronic insomnia i have been suffering with since last June. however even despite this, I’m still getting anxiety and panic attacks right before bed, along with a tight ball of tension in my chest. This puts me in hyperarousal.. I have learnt about befriending wakefulness and I’m telling myself there’s nothing to fear but my body still goes into fight or flight and panic mode when it’s time for bed. Why 😣? Even after accepting the insomnia for what it is, I still can’t sleep for hours and hours. 🥺😪

try being okay with unpleasant wakefullness, accept worry, anxiety, difficult emotions its normal when you are suffering with chronic insomnia. they are just signals, therefore they are meant to be received.

Hi Daniel! Great video as always. I actually want to ask something. Some days when i sleep i woke up several times and i know this is totally normal, we all do. But sometimes when i wake up my head is full of with thoughts. It's like i've been thinking something during the whole sleep and woke up middle of the thinking session, my head is full. And it's not a big issiue for me since i don't feel that restless but im still curious. Maybe its because sleeps like this are light sleeps like you talked about. Before the REM. And maybe its because of sometimes i still sleep with a little bit of stress. Im curious about if this situation is normal when we recovering from insomnia.
